Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B, Sd.Kfz. 186

The Jagdtiger (officially Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B, Sd.Kfz. 186) was a German heavy tank destroyer from the Second World War. It is the heaviest and most heavily armored mass-produced armored vehicle of that conflict.

If they’re going to include things that are post-war or things that were never even built, then at least include something that actually saw combat.

Two Variants On April 12, 1943, Henschel presented drawings of two potential variants for the new armored vehicle to representatives of the Ordnance Office. The first variant was based on a chassis with a layout similar to that of the Tiger II tank: the power unit was located at the rear, the transmission at the front, and the fighting compartment in the center of the hull. The design specified 150 mm of armor on the front of the hull, 200 mm on the front of the fighting compartment, and 80 mm on the sides. This variant had two major drawbacks. First, the gun barrel extended approximately three meters beyond the vehicle’s silhouette, which hindered movement over rugged terrain and complicated rail transport. The second drawback was related to the first: the vehicle’s center of gravity shifted toward the front. This was caused by both the heavy frontal hull armor and the aforementioned long gun barrel. Consequently, the front components of the running gear were subjected to increased stress. This issue was compounded by the fact that the vehicle lacked a rotating turret, necessitating frequent turning of the entire machine to aim. As a result, the overloaded chassis would be subjected to significant strain, increasing the risk of frequent mechanical failures.

The second variant proposed moving the engine to the center of the hull and positioning the fighting compartment at the rear. This configuration reduced the barrel overhang to just 1.3 meters and provided a much better weight distribution. On the other hand, however, it also presented numerous disadvantages. Relocating the engine to the center required significant modifications to the tank’s basic structure, which in turn resulted in additional labor and costs. Furthermore, the proposal did not yet address how the air intake and exhaust for engine cooling would be handled. Finally, removing an engine positioned in the center of the hull would have required dismantling not only the cannon but also the entire armored compartment—a task that was effectively impossible to perform in the field. Consequently, the first option—with the engine located in the rear—was selected for further development.

I would rather accept the option with 8.8 kvk 43 than with 128mm

Are you afraid that he might be the king of the battlefield?
and would crush the allies

I’m not crying about the Russians having the IS-2 122 mm and SU-152 152,4 mm either.

That’s because it’s an incredibly shit tank. Nothing can penn the jagdtiger in game. No, absolutely not, you’re a delusional germie main if you think this is good for the game

Anyway, I understand why people playing as the Allies wouldn’t want it—if I were playing as the Allies, I wouldn’t want it either. But since I play as the Axis, I’d actually like to have that tank there, if only for the sake of collecting.

Daily dose of dogshit suggestions

Another german mains asking for a inmortal tank XD Germany already have the Best BR5 tank they don’t need more and this thing basically can’t get killed only by the KV-2 and ISU-152 wen using HE shells.

No, it’s not, but you being an ass after i say i can’t understand you is.

Do you really think everyone being able to spawn these one after another as if there’s infinite tigers to go around is anymore authentic? If a team could only spawn one for the whole match i actually wouldn’t care. I’d take it out with a plane or on foot and go about my business.

Maybe this is the problem? Perhaps play all factions, not just 1. The game has to maintain balance in some form.

I told you I’m just a reflection of the community xD

You wanna start an arms race? Not a chance unless it’s BR VI.
