If you are not happy with such logic you should make a suggestion. Instead of saying Jagdpanther needs to be fixed. You didn’t find the root of the problem. The problem is not Jagdpanther, it is the machine gunner system.
If you make a bug report on Jagdpanther you probably get the answer that says not a bug, it is an intended feature.
In some tanks the Commander is also the Loader (the Crusader is one).
Lots of exceptions, that prove the rule.
Don’t know what’s going on after this reply though, head hurts from reading.
Devs should take a once over and redo the role priorities, that’s for sure.

The best solution would be to let players assign them manually in real time.
For example. When my engine or transmission is destroyed, I would much rather have a gunner/loader combination than a gunner/driver.
