Have all the competent players in Pacific moved over to Japan? I stopped playing for a couple weeks and now suddenly I’m losing 90% of matches as allies. I know they nerfed allies capture time (pretty heavily from what I can see) and buffed all the Japanese weapons accuracy and damage, however I wasn’t expecting such a dramatic shift in game outcomes on such a consistent basis. Like 5-6 losses in a row compared to before where it was hard to lose, seems like there are far more groups of top tier players on the Japanese team now than there were before.
Anyone else notice this?
And for those who will jump on saying “stop complaining America OP”, I played Axis Normandy early on when American P47 and Jumbo spam reigned supreme prior to late game level releases. Now I don’t play Normandy because the Axis dominate almost every round and I can survive an entire match in a Tiger unless there are competent pilots on the the team, so I don’t want to see what happened to Normandy happen to the Pacific as well where one team starts on top then the devs flip the stats/content completely in an attempt to balance it only to swing it in extreme opposite direction.
Losing some matches isn’t a problem, but flipping the script only changes the face of the problem
I’ve been playing Japanese only in this campaign and the answer is very simple… It has nothing to do with weapons but players. When veterans finished to grind the allied, they all went on the other side to grind it. Only new players stayed in allies. The lack of player balance is what’s ruining this game in most campaigns now and that’s why enlisted can’t grow a stronger community.
Doubt it, if this is true why other campaign didn’t have this kind of player shift? Remember finishing grinding a side takes very long time. So it won’t have most player in the campaign shifting to other side in such a short time. Massive shift of player base usually depends on equipment or something new had come.
I myself have been playing jap side since i leveled allied side, i did notice a shift towards more experienced teams being on my team the last couple of weeks
Moscow is full of soviet pve enjoier
normandy is full of german pve enjoier
Berlin have random playerbase shift
Tunisia same as Berlin
Stalingrad is abbandoned but from next update it be more lively
Pacific is fresh i wait for see what happens
My word above are talking about his one side moving to other side in the same campaign because of finishing grinding one side theory.
Do you think this had ever happen in other campaign?
Yes in normandy wen panther an mp43 got released, american player switched side because they feel outgunned, we make a lot of post about this thath time
Same for berlin soon germans get the tiger, but thd situation reversed with the fedorov
Yes it happen a lot
1st because of the equipment
2sd because people want easy life (stomp)
At 90%, because, most of the playerbase switch in base of what faction have best equipment and win, i and someone else wo switch soon it end the grind and start a new side we are a minority
This dont mean there are no player wo play equally all side, but are to few compared to wo simply stick with the OP side of the update
So not disagree or agree at all
But yes
If you ask me wy playerbase shift i gonna answer because of the equipment
I don’t think so because i had already switched over before the buff and i was usually the only experienced player on my team. When thier update buff occurred i noticed more experienced players were on my team (jap) for fews days and then it dwindled. I did notice a big shift until a couple weeks ago, i already had better weapons at this point. The battles have become easier for me to win as a result of this shift. Aquiring better and upgrading weapons as i leveled helped too but the shift definitely had the most impact of making it easier to win for me.
I noticed the shift happened before they buffed the weapons, and with premium, it doesn’t take that long to end this campaign or at least to see what it can offer. Yes new equipment or buffing can influence a shift but here it’s nothing amazing. Most of the good veteran players I know did this shift because they have nothing else to do in this game. Besides, shifts happened a lot in this game. Normandy used to be ruled by allied team at the beginning, now it’s the axis, same scenario for Tunisia.
I agree, That is indeed why i switched over to jap side. My allied side was completely leveled. Equipment helps but is NEVER main factor imo.
For instance, if i OR anyone were to gather a team of talented and capable high performance players and start grinding the allied side in normandy exclusively, it would begin to shift towards the allied side. I have saw this happen, more than once.
I have been grinding Pacific campaign so i haven’t played other campaigns much lately, but i did play allied side in normandy twice yesterday because of daily challenge and i did notice it was more of a challenge to win than i remember it being. Axis side was tougher. Did they get a significant weapon buff that made them much more of a formidable foe? I dont think so, i think its because of players getting better and more experienced players were playing axis side. We ended up winning both times, and i was playing with over half of my equipment not upgraded, we won because of strategy and skill, in my case it definitely wasn’t better equipment, i dont know if my team mates had upgraded equipment or not.
