I didn’t go that far. I went to the Russian Assaulters and managed it so that I’d get them 2 days ago. At that point, I bailed on the rest

Doing the fir tree decorations, took me 3 days…
I don’t have time to play 5 match a day, let alone 10.
I feel fine and relaxed now.

There is nothing more important in this game than always having a good rally point set up by you. At all times.
Also now the mobile truck is desirable as your second rally at all times.

And I didn’t unlock them as soon as it was available. During the holidays, I celebrated Christmas with family and friends, I JUST got the fir trees, and Sovs soon before.
Both quite potent squads.
I haven’t played with either yet, but I did pick up one of the Horn StGs on the battlefield after gunning down a squad of Germans. It’s useful. I liked getting one in my best sniper’s hands as his secondary. I was able to go on a pretty sweet rampage with him
I haven’t used the German one, but the USSR event para and the USSR assault squad
Both very handy indeed, do enjoy using them
Any event unit, is always worth it, comes fully upgraded, and earns XP/score as soon as you get them, compared to a researched unit, then you have to get XP, to give the squad ability to earn XP. 
The Soviet paratroopers were much more useful before they were nerfed, but still quite useful; just not as useful in low BR as beforr.
I finished this, so to celebrate my stupidity.
I will take a break from the game and only show up for daily login rewards.
Im the 10% who played everyday (for more than a year without any serious break) and spent money on the game, I most definitely think that this was not their plan.

Same here, I’ll stop until next battle pass since I’ve got the F2P BP main reward.
To feel enjoyment from the game is to not religiously play the game, unless you actually enjoy it, which is not common for most PVP game.

Probably, unless you have no life(this extended to non holiday event), Dev doesn’t expect you to do all of them
Incentive is to get you to pay, while it isn’t fool proof it’s probably more effective than straight pay wall.
Am I the only one that isn’t upset that the Event had prizes that I didn’t continue to earn out past the squads?
The event rewards past Round 9 (I think it was Round 9 that unlocked the AT-44 squad) were quite mediocre. At least there was something of value out at the end for people who wanted a time sink over the holidays (for whatever reason.)
It also seemed intentional that the gold order was considered a reward but not something that people would get upset at missing out on.
I don’t get why people think it was important to continue the event past the point they were having fun with it. I was close to burnout by the time I reached the AT-44s but I think that was mostly due to how I was playing. My kids were playing their games most of the day and evening and I was playing until 2 or 3 in the morning then getting up at 6:30 to get them off to school.
Worst event in enlisted by far. Last year’s winter event was the best regarding grind.

They werent nerfed they were fixed. They are still very useful even without the broken rd 44. Germans still have no paratroopers in low br so the soviet paratroopers are huge advantage
