MG’s like the new .303 MG and the m1919a4 are rather useless in a game such as this especially when someone comes around the corner and gets the drop on you first especially when you have just a gun that requires you to prone. As you’d be dead before you can even hit the floor. So they should be able to be equipped to other classes riflemen as a secondary for when you can dig in and have time to mount.
It would be easier just to fix collision, mounting spots, and possibly allow a crouched stance with significantly reduced accuracy for MG gunners when not fired from prone or mount.
This is a machine gunner weapon after all, it has no place being anything but. If weapons like this were allowed to be used by more than machine gunners it would become a full auto fest we don’t need that trickling down from br5. There’s already some questionable weapons as it is below that threshold.
