Last time the Soviets received any event rewards was in May 2023 (GAZ-MM - truck with AA-gun) and earlier - Sholokhov ATR squad in March 2023.
While since then Germans and Western Allies have received paratroopers, submachine guns (Lanchester, MP-41) and now - new plane and Fliegerfaust.
Is it not a discrimination ?
My whole normandy axis lineup is made of event squads and weapons as well as insane gold order weapons, I dont even have to grind the campaign because of how good those squads are on their own 
Now that I think about it did the soviets ever get special weapons from events? Like the MP-41r, thompson .30 carbine, Kar98 w 25 rnd mag and now the filegerfaust…
Ppk on Berlin for example, it did come with a squad but still.
Anti tank weapon on Moscow when axis got the wz anti tank.
And BT-7 in Stalingrad …

Yeah I dug through old event stuff and the soviets got only 2 unique handheld weapons the PPK-42 and Shokolov ATR, the vehicles are lame, I would play WT for those.

Red PPS-42 is only reskined PPS-42, while Astra Lux is a useless pistol.

Japan event rewards number is the same as with the USSR which was there from the begining so they are most certainly a bit sparse:

So getting the IS2 1944 and the fantasy AS44 Model 5 wasn’t enough now you need literal AK47 and IS3?
IS-2 (1944) and AS-44 are campaign levels, not an event rewards.
Having a weapon from the past produced long before the war vs a whole bunch of weapons from the future breaking immersiveness and timeline on german behalf.
Either get rid of all small series crap in main tree, or stop whining about Fedorov, which is times more acceptable than any STG prototype or tanks that were specially developed to counter 34 and KV while those 34 and KV are not being able to show their superiority in early stage of the war, because they are immediately balanced with superior weapons from the future.
Little difference from STG variants in Moscow and Stalingrad really.
