I could write a book about the desire for a Chinese faction or more automatic and semi auto rifles for Japan. We have enough copy paste in the game though id be more fine filling out Japan’s tech tree than… Like many weapons in China that were either a hybrid of two guns or a straight copy this gun was made during a civil was using what they had at hand to defend their country. a great br1 bolt action rifle that is accurate but slow firing like many other br1 bolt action rifles. It would be great to see these in an event followed by premium or tech tree but god no not as a battle pass.
Poll isn’t the only thing that’s required when making a suggestion for weapons… maybe if you’d read the new rules that you are partially responsible for you’d know that.

If it were brought in under any of those pretenses then guess what? You’d still have to grind a bolt action rifle that doesn’t help Japan at all.
Things we need far in advance of another simple bolt action:
-type 91 lmg
-another semi auto rifle with 10 round magazine.
-scoped semi auto rifle. Hei, Otsu and Ko were all tested with scopes.
The tree is the only way you even could add this. Not nearly cool or shiny enough for BP or event. Frankly I’d feel cheated if this were an event weapon.
has to be tech tree, that is you’re opinion we have plenty events with one or two weapons that are just drip feed of old gold weapon, an event with 9 rifles or a squad of nine soldiers with rifles
yeah i mention hei, otsu ko if you want them at br3 why at br3 there a snipers that need head shots to get a guarantee kill, at br2 there just as redundant as the type 19 carbine, they are also copy paste
what ten round semi auto a hei, ko, otsu that would be underpowered at br3 and overpowererd at br2. if a type 19carbine has to be tech tree a ten round semi ‘has’ to be br3. lastly type 19 carbine is br 1 unlocking its a sneeze unless yo mean all upgrades in that case hers a prescription give it to youre local arborist it will make sitting easier/
Sniper versions of Ko, Otsu and Hei all fill a gap in the tree. We currently have no semi auto sniper. Yeah it’s gonna take more than 1 shot to the body. That’s how semi auto rifles work in game.
A TT 10 round semi is needed because the type 4 is our only one and it is currently hamstrung by funky recoil. It is objectively worse overall than either of the 10 round event Type Hei rifles.
This thing is just not needed. I’d much rather the devs put their time towards something else. Like getting the scopes working for the type 99 and 96 LMGs. Giving the type 92 MG emplacement it’s scope. I’ll mention the type 91 once again.
You want a cool event weapon? Japan tested their type 2 grenade launcher (the one on the type 99) on the type 96 lmg. In the later days of the war, they were ripping 20mm cannons off planes for static defence emplacement. There’s a cool engineer squad idea.
There’s just simply a hundred better things to look at.
If you want a 10 round hei, ko or otsu at br 3, again br 3 with the same damage against the garand and the johnson. Ok
