The Locust wasn’t really that great.
They attracted fire, their firepower was underwhelming, and they broke down.
However this is a game, and just like in warthunder, its used to troll German mains.

Fuck yeah it’s changed. My original complaints regarding paratroopers, was over 40 days ago.
This was before the UI was updated, and before the Paratrooper event was created.
So after taking a break for awhile… when I played some matches yesterday, I observed The paratrooper issue has only been amplified 10x worse than it was during their original introduction. Why? Because now there are sweaty players who have two paratrooper squads in their line-up, and 90% of matches are nothing more than a shitshow(hyper speed/sprinting/explosion simulators).
In Normandy anyways.
It’s a problem. And unless some major changes are made, the game is going to sink under water, shortly after the next paratrooper squad is introduced into the game. Once players have access to 3 squads of paratroopers that they can cycle through… BYE BYE a large percentage of the playerbase.
Paratrooper squads are overall stronger than assaulter squads, they get even extra HP and have a strong variety of loadouts to chose from.
They would be already broken without the ability to destroy the map design of the game.
Seriously, the paratrooper spawn mechanic needs to be redone completely.

when normal infantry need at least two minutes of hike to reach the objective and paratroopers make it there in 20 sec, it is annoying.
There are limits on tank and aircraft squads, paratroopers need a limit too which still wont really stop them.
Make a new category for them just like riders have their own and have only one deployed at a time.
I cant even imagine how annoying roof camping paratroopers will be in Berlin and Stalingrad.

What I would propose is:
-Paratroopers and their crate should fall a little slower.
-After landing, the paratroopers should wait a little while before being able to access their crate.
-The crate should not land next to the paratroopers, but a little further away.
-Their should be a deadzone/redzone around the capture point (like with spawnpoints) so that paratroopers cannot land on top of the capture point.

You’ll get players who deploy in otherwise inaccesible places, and they will order their A.I. to hold position in a safe spot… and One-bye-one, the player will camp/snipe the other team in the back.
And the player will have 7 lives to play with, as they sit and farm XP.
Once the squad dies, they will re-deploy with a different paratrooper squad and do it again, and again.
The problem only multiples when you account for stacked teams with players who are using discord (synchronizing/choreographing their paratrooper deployments)
This would fix a lot of issues

Are you unable to think of solutions? Incapable of making constructive suggestions?
I proposed three solutions to this topic what I think should be done.
You didn’t bother to leave a single one, neither did you respond to my suggestions.
Do you attempt to create a simple-minded echo chamber among critics of paratroopers? Or what do you want?

It’s really convenient how your tack record of personal insults, continues to get covered up/buried by the moderators (you even admitted to reporting me).
How is it a rant, exactly? There’s a genuine problem with the Paratroopers, and there are multiple people within the thread who agree/have added to the discussion.

I have already provided solutions multiple times throughout the weeks. And also, there are plenty of solutions/suggestions that can be found within this thread.

no it is your issue. you are simply not respecting forum netiquette:
- you are repeating topics. there are dozens of topics regarding paratroopers/normandy and you created at least 2 of them. this can be forgiven to new users, so not you.
- you need to be brief. nobody has time to read essays. ffs you made 3-4 videos about paratroopers dropping like there was any doubt about it, not to mention those screenshots.
what has UI have anything with paratroopers? just cause your complaint is over 40 days ago you need to make same points all over again? also this is second paratrooper event. what do you think is happening in pacific all this time?
there are hundred other problems in this game and devs are not fixing them. you are just being overly dramatic.
i have already made few posts where i put my opinion that paratroopers are OP cause they can flank instantly and ways i would nerf them. i am not creating overly dramatic topics every month about them. devs already got their input and nothing you do will change their opinion. if there is any nerf coming to paratroopers it will come after big update that should come in next month or two.

I showed a video for each objective point being exploited by paratroopers. Seems like a great way to illustrate the full-picture of how broken the match was.
The only issue… is the fact that you personally do not like me criticizing the paratroopers in the public forum.
Why?
Because it’s not good for business, when the goal is to sell as many premium paratroopers as possible… and you have someone like me, who can see the direction this game is going… and I’m raising a RED FLAG.
What’s your problem? You don’t want someone like me, to highlight the problem, and allow other people to make their own observations? (and then add further citicisms)?
