No one loves half-empty ammo clips

If you either love to make a quick reload (without the last bullet in the chamber being used) or like always to have a full clip in your gun - you definetly facing issue when you spent all full clips and now half-empty clips are being loaded.

My proposal is to add a button to perform ammo trimming action which should take 5-10 seconds based on gun type/amount of ammo and the result will be only full clips (exept for the last one, which will contain the remainder ammo).

And yes, by the logic - all belt fed guns should not have this option.

here we need a function where the bot loads cartridges into empty magazines in a safe place ( takes out cartridges from its pocket and loads cartridges into magazines )

This drives my undiagnosed OCD crazy

having spare ammo left in your half spent magazines is the punishment for not emptying them properly.
BTW you can solve it by building an ammo box, which takes even less time than reloading your magazines with bullets.

The game is even letting you keep that ammo instead of discarding it as your soldiers look to be doing.

English issues?
I’m talking about having a separate button to trim the ammo, so it would take some time to do it, not about having ammo trimmed automatically by the magic in a moment in your bag

I don’t see any unreality in situation of “having multiple clips with 1-3 ammo and without any ammo boxes nearby you - to have a wish to trip those clips into 1+ but full, not near empty”

In that case, you’d be better off just placing three extra ammo crates in your combat zone—that would be far more practical. Furthermore, going by your logic, an Engineer squad would have to be a mandatory standard inclusion; otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to fulfill your objective of keeping every magazine fully topped off.

Did you hear about “engineer being killed first” issue?

I posted this topic because it happen all the time when you are the last solider in the squad and there is no ammo boxes placed by you/your team nearby, since you are e.g. on attack side, but still there are plenty of room to hide yourself for 10-15 seconds to trim clips.

Based on your description, bringing two more engineer squads would suffice. If you need ammo boxes, you can build them yourself using tools; there’s no need to wait for others to build them, unless you’re a new player. Experienced players usually assign an engineer to each squad to facilitate the construction of spawn points, anti-tank guns, ammo boxes, and fortifications.

In this case you are talking like a person who preferring to play in CoD Modern Warfare games and instead of maxing output from every solider - prefer to kill him faster so you will be able to use next squad.
This is possible way to play, but I prefer to max output of every solider and I guess there are plenty of people who this in the same way

So again, you didn’t hear about “engineer being killed first” issue - this means that engineer in your squad will be killed first in 90% of cases unless you will control him directly.

Okay, it seems you’re a newbie on Enlisted, which explains why you don’t have many engineer squads. I suggest you buy a few high-tier squads with low matchmaking tiers when there’s an official discount; they all come with anti-tank soldiers and engineers. As for your habit of using engineers as the vanguard, I suggest you change it. Otherwise, prepare two extra squads with engineers to repair ammo boxes, because this is a matter of your own habit, not an official bug.

I’m still waiting for them to fix the bug that causes soldiers to reload thier weapon with an EMPTY clip…a few bullets are way better then no bullets.
