New tech line, devs listen up

I like that a lot better. But I agree that 10 levels is far too much.

Keep in mind that they released those news early to get our feedback. You really think they started to build the tech tree on day 1 of your 120 days?

However there was also a lot of feedback from players on day one, but the result was that they did not choose and refer to.
In normal business activities, or even in scientific research, a draft should be generated before a proposal is drawn up! This is very important! Once a topic has been drawn up, a formal version of the proposal and proposal design should be written on the basis of the draft as soon as possible. In the meantime, all the corresponding practical work should be carried out!
And here, still in draft form?Even the criteria and limits of the draft are ambiguous

Equipment getting BR? Soft BR restriction?

I already said, the more their thing is finalized, the less the player the player can influence. They are showing their draft to us means they are willing to listen to our feedback and make changes before making it formal.

We forwarded your topic to devs, thanks for feedback.

1.I raised a lot of questions about different legions, different individual soldiers, soldier skills, soldier ranks and soldier levels, and the problems that arise when they are coupled. There are more details than this to consider, but the developer’s table only considers a limited amount.
Your eye is not even as broad as the developer’s.

2.So they just let you make suggestions after coming up with a theme, take 4 months to come up with a partial draft, then wait for the suggestions you give, then revise for another 4 months, then revise for another 4 months after giving the first draft based on your suggestions, then repeat for a second draft for 4 months, a third draft for a month, and so on until the end, because even the huge amount of suggestions given back after coming up with a theme are not fully reflected in the draft. During this time, no new or novel models were added, apart from marathons and weekend events and discounted sales campaigns. This is the wonderful world you envisage.

Bruh, not all person agree your suggestion. Not all person like the br become so complicated.

They already said they released the news early to get feedback. It doesn’t mean they already focus to work on it 4 months ago. You need to remember that there was a major update 2 months ago and there was a Ui rework not long ago.

This is not a normal indie game team, a small scale company with only a few people! Here, excluding official module contractors, outsourcers, forum moderators, help groups, alpha teams, there are dozens of core developers alone, and at least part of the core developer list I have in my hands is over 50 people (not all counted). Excluding individual client PR people (like possibly keofox and chuda), this is also a large studio that can work in multiple threads. And not single threaded cpu0.

The last major update released on the start of the 2nd battle pass. Which is very late. You really think they have much resources to work on the merge if the last major update already released late.

if there is only 1 assaulter I squad then it is justified. if there are multiple assaulters I squads transferred from campaigns then it is not justified.

i could see this as a measure to stop multiple assaulter or flamethrower squads at lower levels, but it depends on the way devs transfer squads from current campaigns. idk if they will be transferring full squads or just soldiers. that part is somewhat vague and wasnt clarified when asked.

this was mentioned way before and was expected result. dont ask devs to work on multiple major changes… it just brings more bugs. you already have major tech tree change and MM change and it is question on how good those will be implemented and how long they will need to fix game after the update.

you mean mod makers? those are just players that are tinkering with editor for free

?

not paid workers, aka players, aka masochists.

there are different jobs at dev company and not all people are high level programmers that can do multiple jobs. you have people in charge of graphics/modeling, sound, marketing, finance, support, then you have low level developers that are more or less just using engine/editor like current mod creators.

overall my impression is that they have very small team of programmers that can actually fix bugs or upgrade engine.

not dinosaur, not tommy, not players ,they are Official mod makers of the development team。

I used to think that way, too.

Contractors, and team partners. more accurately

They may even have to delay until the third season, although they had assessed the deadline as mid-June,even earlier.

this seems more like junior dev side project. companies often use side projects to make junior devs learn engine before letting them into main project. that way if the f*** up it doesnt affect main project.

when i say small team i mean small team of competent programmers. but then again i have experience with company bureaucracy and team could be larger, just that they are wasting time on non programming tasks.

i am not certain that they use contractors outside some art or if you maybe think gaijin. outsourcing core work is usually not done by any serious company.
