Tier is not BR, in warthunder it is possible to have lower BR vehicles in a higher tier bracket.
They havent listed BR, only Tiers

Thats another one on my list. IMHO the different starter perk doesn’t justify the higher BR rank.
It should be strictly about what gear the soldiers wear into battle. Again: Just my opinion.

It should be as Keo said in the past that soldier rank/tier disappeared because in the new system have multiple instance of the same squad was unecessary

This tech tree is seriously disappointing for a variety of reasons. It might make the game unplayable.
I will refrain from making assumptions until it actually comes out, but I expect a rework of pretty much the entire tree, or I’m not sure if I will continue.
I’m still extremely disappointed that Britain and Italy will just be shoved in with US and Germany. Like, really guys? You already have enough equipment for new trees for them, just do it. The way it’s happening right now is very poorly implemented.
And it’s still nerfed too

But the M38 with the small mag could be put at lower tier

Yeah, that too… I honestly can only make so much suggestions before the devs stop reading what I post.
Thankfully, @EdVanSchleck will suggest that very matter as well to devs. There’s no real reason why classes should be THAT spread around tiers… Knowing all class1 of any specialty can already equip all most costly perks.

When I read this, I couldn’t help but wonder if they even understand what good balance means, because from what I can see from these changes, they fail to understand the core issue
the core issue is that they cannot balance players in games, that is because there is a massive balance issue in players in matches, so most matches always have a team with a player advantage, and that is tied into the other issue they refuse to face head on
and that is the quit culture
this failure all stems from a lack of understanding the issues and facing them head on
and this is the result, making stupid changes to stupid things to make the game worse and covering it with a false story that it’s for good balance
war is not about balance, read that again
war is about fighting to win with any advantage you can find
making games that change history to give participation medals to players is insulting to the playerbase that earned their way and now will be limited to these stupid tiers and br limitations
so If I’m a game designer now, listen carefully, good balance happens when you don’t shrink down the players who have certain weapon tiers that you made something to strive for and limit them to only now playing with those toys among themselves, that is ridiculous, what battlefield in the world says you can’t bring a rifle to a fight because the enemy has assault rifles?
Your problem as devs is that you don’t know to balance players into matches according to what they have already, so you create this fake world that is trash
if you wanted to balance the game, you would have had to improve the matchmaking a different way, not this way…
and you would have to find balance in matches dynamically as the match is prepared and depending on what players are on each side and adapt for when players leave, as that is a massive issue, and will remain an issue even after the update
because players are still going to leave matches when they see their team sucks, that is the most common reason, the br won’t change that

This concept is the biggest joke here I have seen so far and I saw their plane nerf and played Tunisia CBT.
10 feels like completely taken from the air to the point Im wondering why they didn’t go full WT and made 11 levels. My best take is that this was done to make the grind longer (because shorter grind would be unfair and not fun). Because 10 levels mean at least 3x10 queues plus minus Japan. Where do we get those player numbers? Is this intentional to mix several BR together?
Half of the game’s stuff is not on the list, not even mentioning event and premium guns and tanks. At best it is not finished (which I don’t think) or they made her homework too late and now just hope for a D-/ 4.
I also agree with @gastanofrizzi and think that their entire BR mess is based on ROF, magazine, and maybe dmg considering that the Beretta is lower than the MP3008 or the VG 1-5. And I had to laugh hard at the inflation of rifles across six levels and SAs being locked between 5 and 7 while also starting to put good SMGs and ARs there and at the same time putting scoped SAs on level 2.
Ratings of soldier levels are even more stupid together with freaking pistols. the same goes for BR for equipment except for grenades. This is just creating headaches for no reason.
Man, I also did my homework five minutes before class but damn, you had like four months or so and this is the best you can give us for the next update?
