It has long been suggested that new AA guns be added to deal with higher BR planes, similar to how we get better AT guns at BR3. I want to present a good option for each nation as a starting point.
Soviet 25mm 94-K
The 94-K pairs two 25mm 72-K barrels on the same mount. Both cannons firing together would match the rate of fire of the existing 20mm cannons.

Allies 40mm Bofors
The Bofors upgrades the 20mm Oerlikon to a huge 40mm barrel. The fire rate is quite low, so the damage would need to be adjusted upwards to compensate. It’s a more extreme version of how the current 25mm Soviet 72-K compares to the other 20mm AA cannons. A single well-aimed shot should take down any plane.

German 20mm Flakzwilling
The Flakzwilling combines two 20mm FlaK38 cannons. Double the barrels, double the fun!

Japanese 20mm Type 4
The Type 4 designation was given to the configuration of 20mm Type 98 barrels on the same mount. Simple but effective.

Should these AA guns be added?
What BR should the new AA guns be?
- BR3
- BR4
- BR5
- They shouldn’t be added

Its better if we can build a dual purpose AA Gun For All Faction. A slow fire rate but punchy like the 88

I think these could be a neat option too. Instead of going in the direction of high RoF as I proposed, we could have hard-hitting but slow cannons that reward good aim.
I think these four could work:
USSR: 85mm 52-K
Allies: 76mm M3
Germany: 88mm FlaK
Japan: 75mm Type 88

I would also like to see these guns implemented perhaps for Br 4-5
25mm Type 96

T45 Quadmount

20mm Oerlikon

20mm Flakvierling 38
37mm Flak 36

Maxim Quadmount

61K 37mm

BR4-5 AA is needed with jets. The current one doesn’t keep up
Exept those will be terrible ingame for actuall AA.
The german flak guns were almost comicly bad at stoping the massed bomber formations while also almost consuming like a third (or more) of the entire german ammuntion manufaturing capacity just to maintain it.
And this is while hunting large formations of slow barely manovering bomber that fly very predictable.
In enlisted you would face jets that spawn basicly ontop of you that can turn on a dime and would have an easy time outmanovering your terrible travers speed at the close ranges the jets operate ingame.

But it would be cool to shoot down a jet with a 88
go buy the premium flakbus then… it already exists.
But I never have seen anyone succesfully shoot down a plane with it.

Out of 10 shots i can only hit 3 to 4 shots.
Fun vehicle but theres only few maps that vehicle shines unfortunately
I like the idea but with the speed of planes at higher BRs might be worth looking at higher ROF AA guns?
But it would be terrible at that.
