I would like to point out that I really think that making AT mines tier 5 on the new BR system is WAY too high. They absolutely should not be higher than explosive packs, in fact I think they should be lower.
They are very rarely used as it is, as it requires preplanning OR getting in very close to use them.
This could be the opportunity to get players to use them more often and get them into the habit before introducing the all-purpose explosive pack. The chance to start bringing even a little strategy back into the game.

Oh, no. They’re definitely not rare. For those players who actually push the objective knows there’s a load of AP-mines dropped, every now and then.
Preplanning? What does that even mean? High level players just randomly drops them on the go.
(Btw, today I find AP mines totally uninteresting. The mechanic needs some rework.)
I think whatever is to be unlocked latter requires higher BR, so no matter how good it was, if it required grinding to get it will be a higher level

problem with AT mines is that they are useless when enemy tank is camping and it requires precise placement.
it would be better to replace AT mines with AT mine field that should make some small area impassable for tanks.
also AT mines are more or less only useful for defending team while explosive packs are useful for any team.

The thing is that at as low of BR as that is, its far less likely for those players to be sitting back. There will be a lot of fairly new players there, and many will still be trying to push forward with tanks. Which will actually be feasible with a lot of the stuff that normally kills them no longer in the same lobbies. Hence:
I think this would perhaps actually be TOO powerful. The thing about them needing “precise placement”, you seem to forget that there are Czech Hedgehogs in the game. Don’t worry, most players have forgotten that they exist for their actual intended use!
By using a combination of Czech Hedgehogs and AT mines, you can obtain your “precise placement” fairly easily, it just takes a little bit more thought, again bringing up:
I agree that AT mines are primarily useful for defenders while Explosive packs (which I’ve argued are OP many times) are useful for any team. As you all have heard me say numerous times, the defender’s side needs some changes to their mechanics to allow for a diversity of tactics including the usage of mines.
Explosive packs are just a reactionary gameplay bandaid that is ultimately hurting the health of the game by making tanks far less useful. By getting players to use and experience AT mines and AT weaponry FIRST (and ultimately possibly changing or removing explosive packs overall), it may actually help to fix that issue at a core level.

We rarely have time to plant at mines and most players don’t even bother.
So it’s not the greatest priority right now.
This being said, why would at mines be high BR anyway?
At early BR any tank can easily be destroyed with early at rifles or explosives. You don’t need at mines
But if it’s the case that you simply like to use at mines, I don’t have a problem with those at lower BR. It takes alot of skill to use them affectivity.

I usually bring one or two squads with only at-mines and shovels.
If you know by experience the map layout and the typical paths of tanks they’re super effective.
My record was 9 tanks killed by AT-mines.

That’s what I’m saying. They currently have both AT and AP mines sitting up at BR 5, alongside WP grenades, yet they have the Explosive packs all the way down at 3.
As I said before, it would help to shift metas around a bit if people were exposed to it earlier on, rather than at mid tier.

Im still wondering what kind of genius(!) Made that tier list and put beretta to lower levels than lutwaffe shotgun.
