Yeah…they nerfed FG-42 cause 20/80 ammo is too much (now 20/20) instead of damage reduction or rate of fire…but any other weapon is fine they think

It was touched, the recoil was reduced towards the end of CBT.

The ppd still has significant recoil though? 
you should only use it in short controlled bursts if standing, and never farther than mid/close range. You can crouch and do a massacre however…

Until you get the PPD 34/38 then you just don’t give a fk and let Stalin guide your hand. I kill whole squads up to 200 meters because if you spray and work to control the recoil even if they don’t die in the 1st, 2nd or even third hit they get staggered. So try to hit them all and hose them down 
Anyway, Russian infantry weapons might be a tad bit better but German CAS is so much stronger. Give the Germans 50 kg forged bombs and wet fart rockets and we can balance the PPD

Mayby cause its usable by every soldier and not only gunner. Mayby they should limit it to gunners only so it can have same ammo count as other lmg’s… But of course german suffers cause it cant have unfair bonuses

CAS might (not might, it definitely is) stronger on the german side, but I’d bet alot that it’s the next thing that will get nerfed. Bombing runs are too frequent.
As for the ppd I meant every versions, with short controlled bursts you will delete ppl with ease, or maintain a spray of doom while crouched and become a mid range lmg

Gunner, Assaulter are exceptions when using the FG-42. That auto-rifle is would be fine, if they EVER could find the balance beween ammo amount-damage-rate of fire. Silly move was that nerf imo
If an experienced player use FG-42, that cause serious damage at opponents…but to be honest…not much player can handle effectively…its way from ‘unfair bonuses’…

yeah i don’t really see a downside. it’s accurate out to at least 100m. it’s TTK is super short, huge mag Cap.
