Its time to adress the most broken CAS plane that has been this ridiculously overpowered for years
not only does it have 10 HVAR rockets which is already 2 more than its fighter contender the AP-4C it also has a 500lb bomb thats great for killing tanks all of that in 1 plane is just broken and need to get nerfed.
I propose to limit its HVARs to either 6 to keep its bomb or match it with the AP-4C and let it have 8 without a bomb
The current loadout the P-47 is very realistic and honestly in real life they normally carried more so in enlisted the P-47 is already nerfed this plane is literally responsible for the gutting of the luftwaffe during ww2
So you’re complaining about an attacker aircraft having better ground attack ordinance than an overtiered fighter plane? How the hell is that even an argument?

Let’s be honest, P-47 have been way too good even at BR 5. P-47 have been Top 1 attacker airplane pretty much since day 1 despite the addition of numerous attacker airplanes thruout the years and other attacker airplanes couldn’t even able to compete to it, it’s that good.
There have been a numerous posts about nerf P-47 but ultimately all shot down in the end mainly due to the reason that USA as a faction lacked competitive equipments and ground vehicles against Germany but this is not true anymore. It is time to tone down the HE power of USA a bit if you ask me, starting from the biggest offender which is P-47.
Oh boy, I can’t wait for every faction to be closer to playing the exact same as each other. That sounds like it’s going to be really fun and replayable.
Anyways, the Kikka is a better attacker and I consider the Tu-2s to be better as well.
Exactly, most German and Japanese planes are either underpowered or overtiered, and Russia doesn’t get any BR3 planes worth using or any BR4 TT planes at all.
Plus I don’t think planes should be getting nerfed at all until we get high tier AA.
Well, those rockets have been nerfed many times before. And now with jets, the lifespan of a P47 in the sky is very short. Also, it is very easy to destroy this aircraft with AA.
Not sure about Japan, I haven’t played there in BR5 so I can’t comment. But P47 compensates for Super Pershing’s weakness against KT. Even Meteor has been nerfed now and America doesn’t have much.
Works fine for me I get plenty of AA kills with it even in regular queues and it is very effective against B-25, A-20 the Beufighter and Mossy I think we need the Quad 20mm Emplacement back they removed it because it was “Too effective against infantry.” Uh duh it’s a quad 20mm.
we should also add the Flak 37 as an emplacement at Br3 for engineers set as dual purposed emplacements.
