Served in 101 SS heavy tank bn in Belgium according to WT wiki and pretty much every other source that mentions it says as much. Was lost by them in combat. Serial number was 250455

Its fun and games, when the “diversity” happens to favor your faction.
Not talking about HA for it, anything past BR2 is wacky made up land mostly for the japs.
But at least at BR5, everyone has weapons which feel “American” or feel “Japanese”, STGs certainly dont fit in there, doesnt help that there is more evidence of US troops using captured STGs over Japan even testing them properly.
Only item you mentioned there relavent to the comment, hes commenting about how copy pasting to other tree’s is shitty.
Also most of the allied mains were a bit unhappy about it, imo the M9 was more than enough and the allies never needed it, but even if the allies did, there was home grown options out there.
At least its better than the Japanese…

One could argue jp shouldnt have gone past br3 ever but it is what it is.
Dunno, all the “iconic” / common weapons are overshadowed by prototypes / never used guns in both murrican & JP BR5.
So tbh cant really care less even if the stg isnt exactly jp gun.
I dont disagree with that, yet it has been done quite many times, so that border has been crossed already.
It looked something like this with this type of mag similar to the training magazines that Japan used for their training machine guns that are chambered in 6.5 mm. Its a bit of mystery how the magazine looked actually but the training machine guns that Japan used are chambered in 6.5 mm so its possible to be one of them.
The other option is to be this straight type of magazine also is 6.5 mm.

Japan already has
- Pak 40
- Tiger 1
- Panzerschrek
- MP 28
- SIG
- KE-7
All that’s left to do is add “purchased” STG and FG-42, and rename the faction to “Japrmany”
Many things can be replaced but you dont like prototypes … and some German equipment should be in Japanese TT Germany don’t need KE-7 so Japan can have it. Germany is swimming in LMGs and BR V Japan will be heavy influanced by Germany since well this is how it was Germany send many of its plans to Japan just like there was Lend-Lease act between the allies. But I prefer if Japan can have more unique equipment I prefer a prototype over the next copy from another faction.

They delivered a Me210 but why add it when they can add to the TT the projects they made from them. They are very unique like :

Well there is depending do the devs wanna add vehicles outside of war thunder.
They can even add another BR V tank. Its better then giving us some Tiger copy.
