Mp34(ö) and S1-100 stat correction

Hello bajtársak and fellow forumdwellers,
I hope we are all familiar with the Mp34(ö) and the S1-100 in the Japanese tech tree, they are the same weapon developed and produced in joint effort by Solothurn and Styre to the highest standards, these were extremely well crafted and terribly expensive guns which is why they are nicknamed the rolls-royce of submachine guns.

Mp34 and S1-100

As I said, they are the same weapon and the only real difference is the calibre they are chambered in. The Mp34(ö) is chambered in 9x19 parabellum while the S1-100 is chambered in .32 (7.65x22) in game. However despite the gun being the same, the stats are very noticeably different.

should Mp34(ö) also get 5.9 damage, like the S1-100?

Further more, I really dont want to create a new topic for this, but the Mp34´s fire rate is most likely incorrect.
In game its 450 rpm while in reality its 500-600 rpm. I cant find any good source for 450 rpm.

It has already been talked about, but the Japanese Type Su aka S1-100 was chambered in 7.63x25 mauser and not in 7.65x22

Mp34 in 7.65 does exists but those were made for Finland while Japanese and Chinese contracts were chambered in 7.63

Just a reminder, but I have little hope that it would be corrected.

i love All errors require buffs, and are almost always german

MP34 should get a bayonet too like the S1-100

Sure damage buff rof buff Bayonetta then bump it up a br

I would also appreciate it if Axis guns were added correctly from the get go rather than players having to beg for the historically accurate magazine or fire rate, but here we are.

Interestingly, the S1-100 submachine gun is listed in the 1945 Japanese Navy Land Weapons document as having a rate of fire of 750 rounds per minute, but this appears to be an error.

its probably actually around 600, though it is not out of the question that variants in 7.63x25 are slightly different and have a higher fire rate.
Not that it matters much, I only suggested correction for 500 since with 600 rpm it should go up to BR2 which is not possible since S1-100 is Japan´s only BR1 SMG at the moment.

That was my main concern about the suggestion.

But 500 rpm would be perfect. I am pretty sure the old Type 100 had 500 rpm and even higher damage.

Also I don’t think this is mentionned here but S1-100 has slighlty improved dispersion compared to MP-34.

Not really related but I guess the MP3008 could get a buff as well to make it at least as good as the sten (on which it was based) though the sights would still be terrible.

i wouldnt trust this book too much. i have found lots of info in there wrong.
here is from Small arms of the world; the basic manual of military small arms, American British, Russian, German, Italian, Japanese, and all other important nations : Smith, W. H. B. (Walter Harold Black), 1901-1959 : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

this book usually has best info about guns and is rarely wrong.

note: I guess the main point here is that the fire rate is noted at 700 rounds per minute.

I did play around with the idea.
reduce its damage from 6.8 to 6.6 (max upgraded) to be the same as sten.
buff it by giving it very low recoil OR give it 500 rpm (found source for it).
But if Mp34 is fixed and gets 500 rpm than I think Mp3008 would stay more unique as it is now so I wont be making any suggestions about the Mp3008 for the time being.
