I do not think this really matters, maybe first give access to this weapon to everyone and then rebalance.

No, it’s exclusive. That’d be like putting the Springfield air service or kar98k tench back on sale. It’d be a slap in the face for all current owners. Just because something isn’t available to everyone doesn’t mean it shouldn’t receive balance updates or changes when required.
Well if you put it like that then you simply won’t get my support.
I do not support long term exlusives like that. All event squads I grinded trough and all BP weapons I got bought were also added to the gamble box, why should weapons like the trench Kar not? Just a bit silly gate keeping argument there.
Like I dont care that much, its just strange that you care so much about keeping a weapon exclusive while also arguing for that weapon to be buffed.

The Trench Kar98k will never be available again. It was included in the closed beta or something and the Devs have decided to keep it exclusive to people who chose to support Enlisted that early on.

That’s because I’m a owner of the mp717r, and out of all the exclusive weapons it is the most numerous so a buff would make lots of people happy. This is hardly a massive ask from the Devs anyway it’s mainly a fix since the mp717r was put at the wrong br when the campaigns merged.

Giving the weapon to everyone would also make a lot of people happy, hardly a massive ask from the devs and salty vets.
It would send a message that the Devs don’t respect you if they are willing to give out something you worked very hard for to every one. Even if it makes a lot of newer players happy in the short term it won’t be good for the game in the long term, imagine if you’d completed the current 5th birthday event and then the Devs just gave out all the rewards to everyone (without the usual waiting period for the silver box), you’d definitely be annoyed because you time and effort hadn’t been respected. Not to mention captured weapons should be very uncommon in matches, although it seems the Devs have forgotten this in recent times.
I did not say add it to the TT, I was more thinking about the vet-box.
And no I dont care much if the five year event weapons are obtainable to everyone, this has already happened to BP weapons like the Condors I used to play with in the Berlin campain, that was my first gold order. I dont care other players get to enjoy that weapon after the current event is finished or through a vet-box, despite me having to worked in the past to obtain them.

I’m not sure if your referring to the event items or the mp717r because either way I didn’t buy my way to get any of them and I’m confident in saying that the majority of players don’t buy the event rewards. And even the players that do buy event rewards they still have to work to earn the money, so they’re hard work would still be disrespected if the Devs made the items available to everyone.

i didnt get 717r purely because i didnt wanna buy stalingrad at the time because i considered the practice of selling whole iconic campaigns unjust in a f2p game, why should i face WHOLE SQUADS of ppsh drum (br5 gun) wielding germans at br3 then?
Then make sure that the MP 717(r) also get the same stats as the USSR BR 5 PPSH.
Currently the stats for the MP 717(r) is closer to (almost even a direct copy) the PPD 40 which is BR 4,hence the request to lower the MP 717 (r) down to BR 4.
So by the same logic:
Why should i face WHOLE SQUADS of PPD 40 (br4 TT gun) wielding soviets at br3 then?
If the MP 717 would be OP for BR 4 then would the PPD also be that aswell.

The mp717r was free so it wasn’t behind a pay wall. Just because you couldn’t be bothered to grind for it doesn’t mean it should be put at the wrong br.

Because to get the mp717r it could take a month of gameplay for a casual, that makes it extremely hard to get, if it was ever to return then it should be just as hard to get as it was for the people who got it at the time. (That would mean it should be locked behind a extremely difficult event because that’s what being a non Stalingrad pass owner was like)
I know what it was like and stalingrad pass was a mistake, if you wanna run around with ppsh as germans please do so, but on br5
