However since there’s br4 smgs like the bramit ppd and m21/28 (which I oftenly pick over the ppsh41), I honestly still feel other drum magazine smgs like the ppsh41, Suomi kp-31, m1928a1 50 and mp717 ( which we both agree on) should receive a downtier to br4 as well. Especially when they all get dwarfed by assault rifles, auto rifles ,heavy tanks and jets at br5

There are Fedorov machine guns at BR 4, and according to the datamine the Fedorov LMG is actually a bit more accurate than its older brother in terms of spread.
So what’s the problem with releasing a limited amount of them at BR 4?

People argue about it like the Axis suddenly got a 5-BR SMG in the tech tree (which they still don’t have)

Well I mean both the PPD 34/38 and 40 are either about the same or slightly better than this, and the PPSH 45 is definitely better. PPSh could go to BR4 too.
That’s fair, they’re both pretty similar and both of these are kinda obsolete against other BR5 assaulter weapons.

Yep. Everything. Ang Soviel LAD and NKVD Thompson, And Allies Paratrooper 100 round Thompson. And German Cönders SMG. And Japan don’t have such SMG for now. But in future maybe they will get it

Soviet event 100 round Thompson is ridiculously fast shooting - but the US version not so much.
Both could move to BR4 tho IF they get MG dispersion penalties, considering those are heavy and cumbersome like actual MGs.
