Type Hei LMG and Fedorov MG are not balanced at all, they just took their BR 5 TT version nerfed them a little put them at BR 4 and called it a day.
I suggest giving both a sprint factor of 100% and moving them to BR 5.
Should both be given 100% sprint factor and moved to BR 5
I mean 100 sprint factor is cool but i’d prefer it to be useful on the off chance you’re playing 4… and there’s no reason to use federov over rd44 besides your proposed buff
USSR and Japanese have TT options with 60+ rounds in the magazine and can be applied across every machinegunner if they so wish.
These weapons have small mags, movement penalty and are locked to their individual premium squads. Doesn’t seem too problematic to me, strong yeah but OP? Arguable imo.
IIRC Fedorov MG when they were first added it was BR 5 then at some point it was buffed to BR 4. I remember that because there were some controversies going on for that decision made by the devs. And that was before the devs buffed the already high dmg of Fedorov altogether to 13.9. Honestly, with 13.9 dmg i think it is indeed belong to BR 5 rather than BR 4. It is only “MG” in the name, it doesn’t even have moving dispersion penalty that almost all MGs have. Didn’t get nerfed to artificially have sub 13.5 dmg too. So why should it get BR 4 treatment? Buff it’s sprint factor to 100% and moving it to BR 5 seems only fair to me.
As for Hei-auto MG, yea i mean it is really good gun but it’s also bit constrained by only available to the paratroopers(which sucks imo)and also with limited total ammo available to them. I believe it’s 30/60? Which is quite limited. If it were to be moved to BR 5 then i’d buff it’s total ammo availability by giving it 30 more ammo(So 1 additional mag), along with removed/buffed sprint speed penalty otherwise it wouldn’t be remotely comparable to 9 men hei-auto SF full squad.
All but two of the ones not mentioned in the original suggestion, the RD-44 and Chatellerault, have 13.2 damage fully upgraded. It’s the MG damage that should be applied for these as well.
