The Achilles is just the M10, but british. They should both be the same tier.

If I remembered correctly 17pdr has the ability to pen panthers from the front, I suppose that makes the difference.
The british 17 pdr also i believe doesn’t share the HE penalty that the american 76 has… i cannot be bothered to fact check this claim currently though.
if anything i remember being slightly more… from when people were trying to get firefly downtiered to 3
The 17 pounder is a BR5 gun - that however deals no damage, because the devs dont wanna fix warthunders terrible post pen damage system.
Dont move Achilles to BR3 - double its post pen damage.

The British 17-pounder gun could penetrate the frontal armor of a German Panther tank, so its gun could not be downgraded to a third-tier match.
If hellcat can be BR3, there’s literally no reason for Achilles to be BR4.
Its horrific turret traverse speed is completely killing the vehicle. No matter how good its gun is.

Given that Panther/Tiger H1 is on BR 4, and the fact that Sherman Firefly is already on BR 4, i suppose that Achilles being on BR 3 would be fair.

Better he much better pen. Still think br 3 but it’s a lot better than m18 or m10. But I also think 17 pounders should be the standard for br 4 not 76mm.
Terrible take. You probably don’t even own the vehicle, otherwise you wouldn’t say something like that.
It’s worse both against tanks (in WT it has a BR of 3.3, while the M18 has a BR of 6.0) and against infantry (due to its awful turret rotation speed + the M18 has insane reverse speed, making it great for trolling aggressive infantry)
Not to mention. As of now, American 76mm is definitely superior to British 17 pounder. Especially if you know how to kill king tiger with it.

Better doesn’tean good. It’s armor is pretty much irrelevant against anything that’s BR2 and higher.
76mm can reliably OHK anything, 17 pounder simple can’t. You need to aim for ammo rack (which is not always OHK, as you can only damage it) or you need to take out.
Meaningless, if your turret is slow and unresponsive thanks to extremely slow rotation speed.
- You can’t even read stats properly.
- I am not hyper fixated on stats, Plus, I don’t like sitting around waiting for the other guy to make a mistake. I play WT aggressively, and that shows in my KD.
- I have spent way more time with tanks in Enlisted that in WT.
Unless you are sittng in greyzone, mobility definitely does matter.
Anyway. Can you please show me that you own the vehicle? Because I highly doubt it.

When are you going to learn that this game isn’t war thunder? They play nothing alike and the only thing they share is the engine. Nothing more.

Another person with a negative kd in wt saying wt doesn’t matter. Seems to be correlation.
And you do realize he was using wt as a comparison more than I was right??? I was focusing on the differences. The ability to read seems to be a luxury here

Except you know…the damage model, the ammunition, the tank anatomy, the crew layout, the angling the kill cam, the match ups…even the pen indicator…face it…Its nearly EVERYTHING alike…except with small maps + infantry (you know…like warthunder has now…)…
