MG34/41 And MG34S

The MG34/41 and MG34S are experimental improved variants of the MG34. They saw combat on the Eastern Front in 1941-1942 With a total of between 300-1500 units built

Both were developed by Louis Stange at Rheinmetall for the HWA competition (1937-1941),The obvious problems of the MG34 in the first stage of WW2 (Poland, France and Invasion of the Soviet Union)Mud, dust, and very cold temperatures caused the machine gun to jam constantly,Very rapid heating in the barrel due to sustained firing,In the invasion of the Soviet Union against large hordes of enemies, the MG34 did not comply with the Doctrine FeuerĂĽberlegenheit(fire superiority)Due to the overwhelming number of weapons firing towards the German position

The MG34/41 and MG34S improved some things, but worsened others of the problems that the MG34 already had.Among the few good things about these experimental variants were their low cost and reduced production time per unit. The high rate of fire, which adhered to German doctrine with machine guns Maschinengewehr-Zentrum (center on the machine gun),It also has less bullet dispersion in short bursts compared to the MG34.

Features of the MG34/41

A rate of fire of 1200, a shorter barrel, with only the automatic fire selector,

Features of the MG34S

Rate of fire of 1400-1700, Same short barrel size as the 34/41, Also with only automatic fire selector

Following the failure of the MG34 variants on the eastern front GroĂźfuĂź saw the mistakes of I avoid them to make way for the MG39/41Which would later be the right path towards the undisputed Queen of Machine Guns of WW2 (MG42)

These MG34 variants are interesting machine guns to add to Enlisted, providing more variety in the machine gun faction.

How would these provide more variety if they would behave the same as an MG42?

For example, adding the MG15/08 would add variety since its a slow RPM lmg like the Maxim-Tokarev which Germany doesn’t have

The weapon is another variant to add to the German arsenal for future rewards for the faction. While it has “similar” performance to the MG42, that doesn’t detract from the fact that the weapon is a good one Addition,The MG15/08 is also another good option for the German arsenal on a BR3 With this, there’s no problem receiving NEW weapons instead of rehashed versions of past events.

I don’t think that this, which fires the same caliber and has a high rate of fire as the other BR 4-5 machine guns, is BR 3.If I had fired a different caliber, I would have put it in the specifications.

Don’t say that :eyes: There is a need for more new weapons

You need to add a Yes/No poll

Will adding “No” as a fourth option be enough?

Add yes/no as a separate poll in the suggestion

adding a 100rnd LMG to BR3 is an incredibly stupid idea and I literally main Germany

There it is

I don’t think it will stand out, given the large arsenal of MGs that are better performing on paper than the MG15/08.

No, it should be on BR4, there are other 100 round MGs there like the beltfed DP and Bren 100, BR3 is too low
