I know what you might think “a Jet on BR IV?!” but hear me out, the Me 163 had 2 30mm MG’s both MG’s only had 60 round magazines, combined 120 rounds, with its 650 round RoF it had 6 seconds of continues fire before going empty i think this justifyes it + it dosent have bombs or rockets (physicly impossible to mount any) + the Me 163 has on 100% fule only 8 minutes of flight time + its made out of wood (extremly fragile)
What do you think of this
Yes, i think the concept is balanced
No, a Jet on BR IV is a no go
No, it would be just underpowerd even if its a BR IV jet
I say no because first we would need to apply refueling sequences for aircraft as indicted by “8 minutes of airtime” and I don’t think much people wanna have to land to refuel (which would make the fuel adjustments in selection menu have further considerations)
i think the p 69 ariocomet would be a great counter plane and its pilot would be kinda fun he wore a gorilla mask and had a cigar in his mouth during test flights so any axis pilot or allied pilot who reported a propless plane being flown by a gorilla would be deemed insane
Apart from the obvious fact that this means the BR 3 going to encounter the jet now, which is huge nope, the short flight time due to the limited fuel on Me 163(I think you misspelled it as ‘Me 162’)is no excuse in Enlisted because when you resupply in mid-air, the fuel also gets replenished.
not all jets are 100 percent superior to props they have different energy expenditures the comet is teetering on the edge of suicidal constantly its fast and light its fuel would dissolve the human body on contact but it cant pull high g maneuvers itl stall
we need a runway system anyhow that’s a different post with all these aa being added planes being unable to repair damage outside the pacific is really odd 1 hit to your radiator or oil is guaranteed death
I don’t know what p59 airacomet even is. If you are talking about the BR in WT, then we have even less excuses to add Me 163 because it has 8.0 BR in Warthunder. Higher BR than any of the jets we have in Enlisted. Me 163 is basically just a rocket disguised as an airplane, it has an absurd acceleration. High G maneuvering is even less of an issue in Enlisted than Warthunder due to the perks on the pilots that mitigates the black out penalty A LOT.
If you want this thing to be added in Enlisted then it should BR 5 AND as an Event reward airplane.
He 162
2 * mk108 (100) or 2 * mg151 (240)
26 min jet engine, 0.34 thurst / weight (0.3 for Me262 A jabo) on 500 km/h 500 m altitudes
Me 163
2 * mk108 (120)
3 min rocket engine, 0.64 thurst / weight on any speed and any altitudes
It is an anoying plane that has no place on a daily battlefield. nearly 1,000 aircraft on the assembly lines, only about 120 were delivered and most of those never flew, usually due to shortages of parts, fuel, and pilots. A few were used in development squadrons and these ultimately saw combat in a few cases during April 1945. I rest my case.
