Like the Title said, we should stop adding more stuff to the game and start fixing existing issue so they stop reverting back/add new bugs on top of existing bugs
The game updates brings more harm than good, people forget how the Devs doesn’t do the usual “improvement” without implementing sneaky changes/stealth nerf to random stuff that just won’t post them in the change log/announcement
I don’t know what piss people off more, a month without content or a game filled with more bugs and glitches and random shenanigans more than before their “update”
You want to be real? We’ve seen a pretty decent increase in new players on console in the last 2 months.
We still see new players coming in all the time.
My group does what we can to invite them to groups and help them learn the game quicker so the playerbase grows quicker.
Our group alone sees about a dozen new players seeking help each week, let alone probably 10x that which aren’t actively reaching out.
And what’s the percentage or player retainment?
How many people are leaving, by simply playing other games?
-Do the statistics account for uninstallations?
-Do the statistics account of inactive players that used to play this game (but have not yet uninstalled), and are no longer interested in playing?
-Or do the statistics only account for the number of new-installations/account creations?
-Are the figures determined by the total number of new accounts / total matches per day / total number of players per day?
-How many new players install the game, because they want to try it out… but eventually they leave after realizing how monitized the game is with premium content at every corner, and the very LONG grind for each campaign?
-How many people have installed the game, thinking it’s something that going to be awesome, and then they quit/move on, after a week of playing. Do the statistics account for these people? Or do the figures ONLY count the positive aspect, where a new account was created?
I only ask, because it’s hard to believe that there’s more players when I consistently get placed in matches that only have 6-8 human players in the entire lobby.
And also a noticeable increase in the waiting-time, when searching for new matches. If there were more players, you would think it would be obvious.
It’s kind of like how companies will use only positive reviews when marketing/advertising a product.
And in the same breath, negative reviews and criticisms are deleted/censored/removed/neglected/hidden from the public’s awareness.
As a result: the unsuspecting consumer is manipulated into believing a product is better/more popular than it actually is.
When money is the ONLY objective… it’s not uncommon to feed the consumers with lies, inflated numbers, and bait-and-switching, in order to yield a higher profit.
Starfield is released, and yes the review seems good but time will tell
And doesn’t help that every time new game release impact this game more and more
Like people just move on, they won’t stick like in WT does because the playerbase sink more and more, and I don’t think people like to play with bots 24/7
On this part I think there is something else going on that we aren’t being told about.
I say this because supposedly there are a large number of solo players complaining about having to play against (or even on the same team as) players that are in a group.
The experience that myself and friends have had as of recent is that if you go in SOLO, you get put in full games, EVERY TIME, and pretty quickly. Even with crossplay disabled.
HOWEVER, if you try to go in with a group, you will more often than not be put against predominately bots a couple players on each side. Not ALWAYS, but i would definitely say a majority of the time.
IDK if they are trying to change up matchmaking in some way, but it is quite aggravating, as you get less xp for killing bot squads (understandably), but it feels like we are being punished for playing as a group.
We’ve also tested it where we split into solos, and que in at the same time. We get in quick, rarely in the same game, and the lobbies are all full.
So the numbers ARE there. Its just that the matchmaking is messed up for groups.
Second, the forums are a place for players to discuss topics and issues, which contrary to popular belief the devs DO see, especially what is highlighted and passed on by helpers, moderators, and testers.
I’ve had a couple of my ideas get passed on, some of which have made it into the game!
The biggest piece of advice I can give is that if you want the devs to listen to something:
format it well so its easy to read
keep it on topic
keep it logical
don’t talk bad about the devs or other members (even if you are irritated)
- start with the context for the suggestion, then the suggestion, and lastly the intended effects of the suggestion.
You’ll have a lot more cooperation if you are willing to give it as well.
actually this was sentiment before/after stalingrad. they are simply rolling out new content and new bugs when game is riddled with old bugs. ffs even bugs they fix are brought back with new content.
They have different people working on bug fixes and new content, so it’s possible to do more than one thing at a time.
People lose their minds if there isn’t a new gun to unlock at least once a month, that’s why we get so many obscure weapons that may have never even existed on the battlefields of WWII.
Personally I’d rather see new content in the form of new missions and objectives, and new gameplay features. Destruction is a promising game type for example: but it needs to be fleshed out and expanded so it’s not just finding radios in random places to blow up. There are so many good ideas that they introduced and then just left alone that could be improved. That’s where I’d like to see them spend their energy
