Maybe we should stop adding more things to the game

Don’t fake it, please use an account with a full Battle Rank, change it to an accompanying ID, and solo match 100 times in Berlin USSR. See how many times your teammates are full of live humans, and see how much rubbish there is even if your human teammates are even generals.
Also during the beta you are not allowed to inform your fans and friends that you are solo matching Berlin USSR.
I think you’ll see the perfect fight you were expecting.

  • It’s not allowed to quit in the middle.

The recent way of adding new levels have been become less in quantity as they used to add levels for all campaigns every major update instead of what we see now with only select campaigns that makes player migration and faction trends even worse instead of getting spread out like it used to be.

I only play North American server, and usually I play mid-late afternoon, or in the evening when you’d expect the player count to be at it’s highest.

their team seems small, so it seems like there is only one guy on bug fixes considering number of bugs fixed.

new content should be added when base game is stable. not constantly adding new content and introducing bugs on pile of old bugs.

This part has me confused.
I’m Marshal Rank, I play on Xbox so I cannot change my ID.

I WAS solo matching quite frequently as USSR Berlin. BOTH teams were pretty full (around normal times, on off hours they were still usually at least half full).

This part I am not disagreeing. I NEVER have a good time in solo games, I’m always forced to carry hard. That’s why it confuses me when people say that solo players are the ones that balance should be set around. I’ve VERY rarely seen solo players that hold their own. IDK why, and I feel like voicing my speculation would get me reported.

The thing is that the game has elements designed for teamwork built in, so why players seemingly go out of their way to NOT use them, rather just focus on their own success rather than that of the team, simply doesn’t make sense to me.

System?
Campaign?

We often leave ours open on European servers too (though definitely NOT Eastern European). Some of my buddies are from the UK and Ireland, so we give equal chance to get into those lobbies.

Surprisingly, they are often quite full of solo players. So depending on your internet speed, you might try European servers too.

If you are on console, you could try connecting with my group.

I’m on the series X, and I bounce around from Normandy, Berlin, Moscow, and Tunisa (all of which I have maxed out).
Haven’t bothered with Stalingrad, because half the campaign is locked behind a paywall.
And Haven’t bothered with Pacific, because the consensus from the forum suggests it’s nothing but an unbalanced shitshow.

I can show you screenshots from the few matches I got into yesterday, where I was put into matches that had less than 10 people through it’s duration. It’s pretty boring to sit on the first objective for an entire game, killing 100+ bots while only losing a couple squads.
Or even better… having other teammates who are slaughtering the bots, and spending the entire match looking for someone to kill (because the enemy team gets wiped out before they can get remotely close to the objective).

How am I supposed to connect with other console players, when console players can’t even communicate with each other in the game?
Am I supposed to send random friend requests to console players I encounter in the game, and ask them to play with me? You expect me to message a random person (who might be a weirdo), and ask them to join my party and share some awkward conversation? LOL!

I would prefer having an open microphone system, where console players can talk to each other while playing any given match. And maybe if I come across someone who’s using a microphone, and appears to be a competent player… I might join up.

But messaging random people without knowing if they have a microphone, or what they sound like… on a gamble that they’ll be fun to play with? Nah…
Not interested in wasting my time inviting people, and then immediately leaving the party because they are annoying or weird.

I’m talking about playing 100 solo matches of Berlin USSR in the three to five days since the last big update.
As you can see, these are rubbish teammates who just quit when they see someone they know, no one but me building spawn pools, and some f**king one specifically waiting 90 seconds to use the plane.

For console gamers, I’ve just come across one of the only fights in 3 months that made me think that console gamers are valuable as teammates

They actually opened it up! We’ve been slowly working on it here and there thanks to it, its not too bad.

We usually send a friendly “GG” in a message to good players after the game. Depending on the response we can gauge if they are decent individuals, and send party invites.

Along with this, I’m in a Xbox club that has plenty of players on to run with. I’m not saying I get along with EVERYONE, but we try to keep the group clear of rude, annoying, etc players so its pretty chill and works well.

@Suicideplume Dude that scorecard is ridiculous. How short was that match, 6 minutes? The top players got 14 kills and 7 kills

Once upon a time, we used to have the ability to click on a fellow-console-player’s scorecard, and it would open up a menu that’d allow us to send them a direct message.

But this feature was removed entirely, without any explanation.

Now… in order to send a console player a message, we have to manually search for them within xbox’s messaging system. It’s a pain in the ass.

I think you’re having trouble understanding.
can you understand how I felt when I saw these terrible teammates when I finished building the spawn pool and was ready to focus on the battle?

That’s the general experience that I’ve had in solo games, that’s why it blows me away that people actually WANT to play solo.

I too am often the only one building rally points, ammo boxes, etc, while simultaneously trying to hold the point.

The planes in Berlin really aren’t that good, so I kind of laugh when people are fighting over them.

ALSO, do note that generally speaking, I’ve rarely had GOOD TEAMMATES from PlayStation (I’m on Xbox), but definitely have had a lot of sketchy enemies which I’ve reported that were on PlayStation.

Most of the GOOD console players play with Crossplay with PC DISABLED. So that might be why it seems kind of skewed to PC players.

Its because so many toxic players were quick to send hatemail. Though due to the exact reason you just stated of it being more difficult, they don’t even bother.

If the teammate is worth the extra little hassle, so be it. It only takes about an extra 30 sec.

Probably as frustrated as I was yesterday, when I got matched up against @W4rPig and his buddies who steamrolled my team, two matches in a row. The first game lasted like 15 minutes, and wasn’t too bad. But then all got matched up against each other again (the following match), and half my team quit immediately. The second match ended in like 5-6 minutes, and I couldn’t even get a rally point down before we’d lose each objective.

Hey @Forlorn_Squad it appears you were in this game he screenshotted, any chance you remember it or could shed some light on it?

I can understand the reason behind it.
But at the end of the day… it’s always the genuine people (the majority) who are the ones that pay for the actions of a small group.
Just like we cant have open-microphone systems, because a small group will always be around to abuse the communications, and then there’s the snowflakes who would rather cry and complain to have the whole system removed (rather then use the mute/block feature).

To the console player base.
I think the percentage of qualified and good players in it is lower than pc.
Where players like Euthymia, these types of players are even more deserving of respect from all players
Personally, I would expect to be able to balance at least by number, say 4 host players on each side. On top of that, take into account additional player segments and skills

I think it’s the low ability player base that is the majority, they are not a minority. It’s the few who are paying for the many. Just as it is a minority of people like shiivcx who donate huge amounts of money to DF’s spending by one person. Qualified, good, and hard working players who join in are a minority.

You just left after suiciding using a plane on thst battle. On first point, like… 2 min after match start. Why you complaining about your teamates?

In the end, there was plenty of rally points and trys from allies team. They almost capped the point.

this is the full match.
