Not realy. It still 2 shots vitality even with body armor at any range you would realisticly use it at. Its the same reason the RD-44 is so OP even though it has very low damage for an MG.

Type Hei Automatic Rifle damage is based on the earlier BR II Type Hei Rifle, SFs damage based on earlier rifles that shoot full-power cartridges

Yes, it’s a bit annoying due to the visibility, and it takes several shots to eliminate an enemy at a distance; essentially, it’s a Type Hei, but with significantly reduced stats.
My only real issue with the Type96 is the damage; otherwise, it’s quite decent even when hip-firing and moving. As for the RD-44, it’s essentially an assault rifle with a belt-fed magazine, you can easily sustain fire, and it naturally offers a better field of view. If they ever add the ZK-423 or the AL-43 for the Germans, I hope it performs similarly.

Nah It was already there because if you see is basically the same class as the APC drivers soo It let you spawn without the Jeep or APC
He is right that it is dumb though.
