Make the game have 3 tiers to reduce bots

Hello I have been playing the game for 5 years, and after many BOT filled matches I believe making the game have less tiers would make it more enjoyable for everyone. Tier 3 and tier 4 are usually dead games full of bots since you don’t want to risk playing in mid tiers and end up fighting a tier 5 enemy.

Having 3 tiers and merging the game tiers with tier 1 and 2 being tier 1, tier 3 being tier 2, and tier 4 and 5 become tier 3 would be awesome, with some changes to vehicles and weapons tiers for balancing the game.

Also wasting time preparing your squads for a low or high tier match is tedious work. so I also think we should have a preset save for multiple squads as well. meaning I have 7 squads I want to play tier 5 with for example, I just save them all in 1 general preset, then make a new one for tier 2 to enjoy lower tiers. something like saving all the deployed squads on my screen as 1 preset please.

BR3 can’t face BR5 and as such isn’t affected by it and while BR3-4 matches are rare due to BR5 being as strong as it is, BR3 by itself or BR2-3 matchest are not dead by a long shot. I’d even go so far as to say BR3 is the most popular BR in the game.

And what would having 3 tiers solve? You’d just throw all the people who don’t want to deal with BR5 into Tier 1 due to +1/-1 Matchmaking. Or would that be ended as well? Through that all BR3-4 games simply don’t happen anymore and you’d get more bots not less.

A squad preset is a good idea though and as a separate suggestion I’d support it,

7. One Idea per Thread

Do not combine unrelated suggestions in a single thread. It will make it difficult to understand the popularity of said suggestion. If only part of a mixed suggestion gets implemented, it complicates tracking and feedback. Keep each suggestion focused on a single idea.

You DON’T get matched because of the Tier!

You only get matched because of the BR of your highest weapon in your active squads! Tier ≠ BR

And no, Tier 3 (where many BR II and BR III stuff is located in) are not usally dead games! Never was and never will! Every time I play BR II and BR III I have full lobbies of enemies until at they end of their match when they start to destert to keep their winrate.

BR5 being compressed is currently one of the biggest balancing issues in the game, and your idea is to compress every BR? That would be ridiculous

I guess removing BR2 and BR4 is what he’s asking for - turning the game effectively into ±0BR, so that we end up with just 3 total BRs.

Good for MM, balance and gameplay - terrible for gear diversity. There are so many established metas with squads and weapons, that when we cut 50% of the total meta content and banish it into being worthless - we would probably piss off alot of people, especially premium owners.

Where do you move Panzer III M? BR3 would turn it into a rather poor tank with slightly above average armor and a bad gun, while BR1 would be ludicrously OP.

In other words, there is zero chance of that happening, the game has a established “balance” and messing with it too much would cause chaos.
