Make every full auto infantry rifle at BR5 as controllable as the Fedorov(25)

And you said it doesn’t happen at all. That is what one would call a lie.

It doesn’t need to be as it is. But people want it, and from a logical standpoint, it makes more sense than nerfing weapons to fight a lower tier. Equipment on higher brackets should be better. Shermans have been fighting tigers for years now. Don’t see it getting nerfed.

(I said it just doesn’t happen, meaning it’s a non starter, a non issue, it’s not prevalent)

Yes, weapons in a higher teir should be better but they need to be a step up not a jump several stories high. The G41 isn’t that much worse than the G43 despite being the worst BR3 semi auto. The G43 however is a great deal worse than the FG-42. The current state of SF Rifles is like placing the MG42-100 at BR2. Is it stronger than anything before it? Yes. Is it balanced? No.

Not prevalent doesn’t mean the same thing as doesn’t happen.

This is why it’s more logical to separate. There’s nothing in between a good semi and a good Sf. If there was a br6 we could talk about having shit versions of Sfs be br5. As the game currently stands, and how the playerbase feels, it makes more sense to seperate. That’s not even putting my own feelings about Sfs in the statement either.

There is a step between current TT Semi autos at BR4 and SFs at BR5. High capacity Semi Autos. A G43 with 20 rounds is already far closer to a FG-42 simply because it has the same amount of rounds per magazine.

Yes i agree. In theory this should solve a lot of complaints… atleast the reasonable ones.

And if that happens i would play it more often and not only germany or soviets for ppsh.

Sure… select fires are still op and meta wise the strongest option no matter what. Which is problematic when it’s the default weapon.

Hell I still even use the br3 ppSh and rip shit up lol

Certainly, although Japan, for example, doesn’t have as much comparable equipment to the others for BR5, which means it would be an interesting addition, the Hino rifle, for example, performs quite well for a BR3 rifle with 15 rounds.

In general, it’s a very big jump going from 10-round semi-automatics in BR4 to 20-round automatic rifles in BR5, so 20-round semi-automatics in BR4 wouldn’t be bad either; they just need to have a bit more damage than the automatics to be truly effective. BR4 semi-automatics with 10 rounds have between 13 and 15 damage, and BR5 automatics between 10 and 13.

You know this actually might be a better idea. Rather these numbers or just increase the damage of br4 rifles in general to have more damage than what SF rifles have as of rn

So basically making select fires assault rifles

First you’re complaining about them having no recoil and now you’re complaining about if their damage gets get nerfed? It’s like I’ve pointed out, nothing ever pleases you

In fact, I had already suggested some time ago increasing the damage of semi-automatics to between 16 and 18, since bolt-action rifles have damage between 22 and 25, and some even more. I had also suggested basing the damage on caliber. I’ve also seen other posts about rifle options to fill the 20-round semi-automatic slot in BR4, and it’s not that there aren’t any options, it’s just that the developers don’t pay much attention to that detail. The closest thing to this would be the Hino Komuro from Japan with 15 rounds, and it was a battle pass weapon.

How about the US? Because I can hardly think of anything worth br4 unless they bring the Farquhar hill rifle over to the TT?

There was a rifle called the M2, and I think it was made by Winchester. It was technically an M1 Garand, but it could use BAR magazines. There were others, but I saw that M2 in a Forgotten Weapons video on YouTube.

Yes. It’s almost like I offered a solution Einstein.
