Since the Japanese now have the Ariska Type 38 with the 30 round magazine, and I am seeing a request for the Soviets to have one as well. I would like to suggest giving the Allies the M1903 Air Service rifle which was developed in 1918 and came with a 25 round magazine.
Should the Allies be given the M1903 Springfield Air Service rifle with the 25 round fixed magazine?
- Yes, they should have the Air Service rifle
- No, don’t give the Allies the Air Service rifle
By the way, if we’re going to give factions bolt action rifles with extended magazines, then the Germans and Soviets should have one as well…If they had one that is.

I believe it was a kick starter backer weapon, would be cool if they released them again though.

That is sad tbh i mean i only found 1 guy who have a founder gun which is the M2 Hyde and that was a long time ago (when merge happen) I dont think any founder are even here anymore tbh. Or they are just in br2 somewhere i guess idk.
The M2 Hyde was just a closed beta weapon. I have all 4 of the squads but didn’t get the kick starter weapons. I believe they should bring them back so everyone has access to them but idk it’s kinda cool having something exclusive at the same time.
If they brought them back but made them really expensive or something then I’d be fine with that.

As far as I remember, the Mosin M91 Infantry, this rifle, and the Kar98k with the 30-round magazine were the weapons you could obtain through the Kickstarter.

Axis have the “Gewehr 98 Wartime mod” with 25 rounds, Japan has the Arisaka “Type 38 rifle (30)”

Isn’t there a version of a regular 1903 with a trench mag? This isn’t the air service rifle, the barrel is longer. This is basically the same kinda thing as the backer kar98 trench mag vs the event g98 war mod
