The brightside is that Chinese equipment is getting added with it’s own squads which suggests that devs have no plans on adding Chinese squads to the tech tree or allowing players to change soldier nationality to Chinese.
However Chinese Thompson copies could have easily been added to Japan as well and arguably, the Japanese faction would have needed these guns more.
Self promotion is bad I know, but there are more than enough guns to add to Soviets.

I’m confused, there is an event squad or premium with the same soldiers / specialist mix and same SMG Thompson.
What is benefit apart from XP bonus please?

This news threads refers to a different squad which is a event squad that is equipped with the “Sichuan Thompson”

Ok so main difference is weapon, but still both are Chinese assaulters and even with max slots, 3 BR3 presets with all different assaulter squads, I don’t think I will use them… what I would drop is question.
I have:
Female Medics 150th 6 Preset 1
449th Assaulters PPK41 Preset 2
38th Guards with PPK-42 Preset 3
No more room for presets, if you (Devs) give us more presets I might make another preset and buy them, but for now I like my mix and presets as they are…

I am of the opinion that it would be fitting to incorporate the broadsword into the ranks of the New China Advanced Squad as well. After all, from the vantage point of the Chinese people, this melee weapon enjoys both widespread renown and frequent usage on Chinese battlefields.

Hi, guys.
5 men squad are extremely weak in our gameplay - especialy it its an assualt squad which always suffer heavy pressure.
Give a chinese squad just a 6-th member - even with an open slot to a TT rifle. It helps a lot. A have all of allied premium squads and chinese one feel weaker then any others becouse of it small amount of people.
The number 6 (六, liù) has a symbolic meaning in Chinese culture. It is associated with harmony, absence of obstacles, success and well-being.
Come on, give us a six and happy new lunar year!

Will be the first events in awhile that i don’t bother grinding or even pay for all the rewards… yeah i totally want an smg squad on soviets when i have 3x ppsh box cycle… and i doubt those are assaulter 4s.
