Lower the FG 42 vertical Recoil

Why does the event paratrooper squads Early FG 42 1 possess lower recoil than both tech tree versions? For consistency sake, the later versions should have similar recoil values to this one. They are its successors after all. The tech tree FG 42’s should have its vertical recoil set at 60.

Addendum: the fg 42 is the least optimal out of all the top battle rifles. It has less economical ROF, and bigger dispersion. With the dispersion and recoil, I find myself missing half of my bullets at medium to long ranges.

The recoil adjustment will make the weapon more handleable, and closer in effectiveness to its peers.
It will not - by any means- become game changing with this recoil adjustment. It still shoots very fast, and has its unique dispersion values (its hip fire dispersion cone is magnified compared to its peers). The only change with this adjustment, is that players can expect to land their shots more often.

The ideal, overpowered battle rifle will have a firing duration sufficient for taking down large amounts of bodies, as well as single shot kill potential. The FG 42 only satisfies the latter condition, and is inferior to its peers in the first regard.

Do note, since this gun fires so fast, it often will be the case that you dump multiple rounds into an enemy even after they are dead already.

Currently, it’s more the case that the FG 42 encourages a more ‘reckless’ playstyle compared to its peers. The single shot placement is not as reliable at longer ranges compared to its peers (or, it is less accurate and more wasteful compared to the type hei auto).

Full nonsense thi Game applies logic whenever is convinient to developers thats why we have some magical garbage like the prototypes and 100 free bullets on stingers

Well, why exactly is it bad then that it has better recoil than regular FG?

Becauuse then we have other nonsense that should be like that and it’s not

Well, I am no expert on FGs - but that nade launcher muzzle device seems heavy, but its not a muzzle brake.

Also a gun being front heavy usually is making recoil control difficult.

Then again, bayonets give secret recoil bonuses aswell.

Soo… yeah, anyways - how big is that difference actually? That para event squad is one of the few German units that I actually dont own.

Despite firing faster, the event fg has similar recoil to the FG 42 2. The first TT fg requires full vertical recoil perk to be optimally manageable, and even then it’s inferior to the second iteration TT fg with only 3/4 vertical recoil perk.

Also, the gun is firing while the grenade launcher is not on the muzzle. It stands to reason then that the grenade launcher itself is not weighing the tip of the barrel down.

Realistically the recoil of the fg 42 would have been as manageable as that of the AVT, if not better. You can watch videos of people firing these guns to see for yourself.

Darkflow, make this happen. This won’t break the balance of the game anyways.

Ok, instead of my original recoil proposal, how about 62 vertical recoil for the fg 42-2, and 63 for the fg 42-1?

As a Soviet main, I believe this is what the fg 42 needs. We aren’t getting the avt 425 anyways.

of course you will eventually you just need to pretend to be suffering outnowhere with some kind of non fundamented argument like “KT H too strong or mg 42 too easy to use” or even more stupid like germans have variety of weapons (which at the end of the day 5 of these 6 rifles are rubbish while 1 is midlly decent) like some of your comrades “with a special and altered perception of things” (hopefully not your case) do

the suggestion havent been even aproved yet and if it yes maybe it will take a very very very long time to actually get added and a little improvement would not fix the whole rabbit hole just place a tape on a massive injury

The soviets are Carrier by their magical stuff on the numbers and stadistics if a buff they need a better players like japanese on their prime
