Let's see what weapons/tanks left unused in game's directory

Since making bug report have to browse along the game directories. I occasionally discovered many brand new stuffs which are not used in game. Now, by the end of CBT, let’s see how many guns/tanks unused in the game files. (only those direct from game libraries.)
Weapons:

Tanks:

They have made so many stuffs now.
Maybe, it’s time for making the in-depth function of guns/tanks now?
Like now, still many guns’ reload animation is a placeholder. And the guns’ function is so limited, just semiauto and auto. But what about foldable butt? Detachable bayonet? Real model of weapons’ sight range? Make weapons able to reload both drum and stick mag? Make scope guns able to reload with clip when scope is not attached to the gun? Able to customized weapons with REAL parts not fictional statistics?
I know you are going the WT’s way. But do you think your game has enough functions/contents to attract and motivate players to grind and make this game a “collection” game? The FPS game market is full of competitors!
Now, most guns in this game only able to “left click”, some with semi mode, and with only theoretically statics and model difference. This can cause new players think the guns are boring, guns’ functions and animations are unfinished and lose the motivation of collecting the guns.
See RO2 for the weapons’ upgrade system. In that game, at least you can see the real weapon parts of upgrades! Not like this game, “Upgrade” only happens to some stats changes and hard to feel.
I play a variety of FPS games. From WW1 to cold war. I have already played PPK41 and MP41 for some time in RO2’s IOM mod. I purchased those 2 packs not because I want to “collect” them, but to support this game as back in early CBT, this game didnt looks so bad!

I just want the Browning 30 cal, m1919 not the Bar, please add this instead of mg42 in OBT.

A few of those have been seen in previous builds of the game- M1918, AVS 36, Colt New Service, DP 27, I think FG 42.

The BAR, DP 27, and FG 42 are confirmed to return for OBT.

I wonder why they decided to give SU DP27 and to not give Ge MG34. Seems weird.

We don’t know for sure which guns will come with start of OBT. If MG34 will really not come, then I’m with you, its just as iconic as DP. But until we get full info there is no need for such statements

It wasn’t on the list, I would suspect it’s oversight in the post but as you wrote it’s iconic so it would be quite a big oversight.

Yeah, but that devblog can’t be considered as a full list of weapons. In one part there is written that in Normandy US will get a new plane and Germany a new tank - I don’t think that devs will go into such kind of assymetrical balance. If it would show exactly what we will get than “balancing” DP27 with PzB39 for Germans seems a little weird.
Anyway, we will see.

I forgot about the PzB 39; it doesn’t even make sense to add.
As far as I’m aware, the only difference between the 38 and 39 is that the 39 is cheaper. Performance-wise they’re identical.

Then again, the same goes for the M3 and M3A1, but the devs decided to give the A1 a higher RoF even though that wasn’t the case IRL.

Astra 300 Gold is in. It’s a twitch drop.

Well, from what I found, PzB-39 was a bit lighter and could have a little higher practical rate of fire because the bullets were closer to the chamber thanks to those cartrigdes on the sides. The rest of performace is identical.

well, no.

i see too many tanks. and if those tanks have the same f***ed models like the Puma, M5, M8 & PZ III N, no thanks.

it would create even more issues.

this is why i prefer having small content each time, so we can test it, and not get overwhelm. but this is my opinion.

cheers.

The PzB39 afaik has been implemented as GrB39, or GranatBuchse 39, the rifle HEAT grenade thrower.

Light armored vehicles have complete garbage damage models thanks to Gaijin.
PzIIIN shouldn’t be broken considering its just a PzIII. 75mm M3 can thwack one easily.

The issue with it is that it is made out of a lot of small panels that have yet to be converted into volumetric armor, and afaik Enlisted uses volumetric shells just like WT. TL;DR: if you have 2 connecting plates of armor in the code and you hit the joint, the armor is added up, instead of averaged.

Are we talking about the LAVs or the PzIIIN with the spaced armor?

you are somewhat correct…

Shouldn’t.

but watching shells doing almost nothing on flat armor, or tnt rolling and exploding on top of it, deals no damage what so ever.

Yeah alright. I haven’t really dealt with the PzIIIN since i mostly played Germans.
But PzIV and Sherman blow up fine from detpacks :muscle:

All of the early tanks we got ingame rn im afraid. They focussed on updating late war / post war tanks. For some vehicles (puma/pz3M) this is worse than others.

Surely they’ll be fixed for OBT)))
Least Moscow really doesn’t have those issues. Even with turdboxes like the PzIIIB or the T-26.

here’s the other point.

never faced either.

but since i unlocked the pz III n a couple of week ago, i experienced that my self.

that’s the worse part.
