I wouldn’t say far easier. The Schurzen doesn’t stop overpressure either it just makes it harder to see the weak spot above the tracks. Also you could factor in that a Panzer IV might have to switch from HE to AP upon spotting a 105 Sherman, giving the 105 Sherman more time to get a first shot out.
Another good tip is that usually whoever shoots first wins the duel.
The pen of the L43 is about 135 mm of pen, the L48 has around 140 mm-ish of pen.
But like I said, they one shot each other. If killing Panzer IVs by mindlessly shooting at them is what you enjoy then stick with the 75 mm M3

Yes the 105 Sherman is good against br2 tanks and if it was at br2 it be a beast only afraid if being up tiered but it’s br3

A few small areas is a gross understatement. Also I never claimed that the 105 Sherman was a better tank killer than the long barreled Panzer IVs.
My point is that it can one shot any tank it faces fairly easily, you have taken it upon yourself to straw man my argument to hide the fact that you’re currently facing a massive skill issue.

I usually aim for the bottom half of the turret when it comes to Tigers, so angling the hull doesn’t really help too much.
Look i am not saying a Sherman 105 can’t kill a pz4 i am saying playing a 105 Sherman against a pz4 is like playing on hard mode while the enemy is playing on easy

If you can kill it with an explosive pack then you can do it with a thick HE round just as easily.

By definition it can not pin the green area
Even if it could it means the 105 has to target a small area
The pz4 can hit the entire Sherman and the Sherman has to be better or get lucky
No Tiger is safe from the 105 Sherman, King of BR3, a monster in downtiers, and an underestimated killer in uptiers. The 105 Sherman shall rule for another millennium, at least until they give it the Panzer III N treatment and give it HEAT shells just to bump it up to BR4.
