what if we stretched the game out 1 br? i feel like that normany niche is not really here, you dont really get that difference in tech from 1943 to 45, it alll just seems lumped together. i see more tiger 2s then panthers or panzer 4s. maybe if we have the king tiger at 6 along with the 262 and potentially things like is3 and the meteor/f80 it would be a much better balance

No, BR6 is a bad idea. Enlisted shouldn’t have cold war/post war vehicles, Enlisted should stay WW2 strictly until most if not all WW2 content and campaigns are added.

The idea itself is not bad, but if it is for rebalances, I don’t think a new BR is necessary, but rather to fix the matchmaking. In the past there were problems like this and you ended up with high BRs with inferior equipment, but they fixed it. If it is to be more historically correct, I think it would be better to create a “realistic” mode with historical equipment and leave the BRs for pure action.

everything in BR5 outclasses the BR4 with notable margin so why not just lock the BR5.

I don’t think any new content would need to be added to make BR 6 viable. BR 4 is severely outclassed by BR5. Not to mention, most countries do not even have complete lineups for BR4.
The problem with balancing is that the devs need to make new weapons and vehicles so that players will actually choose to play them. At this point, almost no one will play any tank except the Tiger 2 at BR5 or fly any plane but the ME262. I think moving these things to BR6 and shifting some other things around could really help balance the game. As a result, making many more weapons and vehicles in the game playable. No Cold War tech needed.
I played around with the idea of Decompressing BRs but ultimately found that it’s not very realistic.
If you only look at Axis which is full of very similar content then it sounds good, but Japan cannot be stretched out even more.
They simply don’t have enough guns and tanks.

True. But this could easily be fixed by adding more content for Japan. Especially needs more love for the non-existent BR4
Dev’s say we don’t have enough players now, so I see no chance they would even consider adding an additional BR level.
Because someone of questionable common sense is calling the shots at Gaijin.
