That’s okay, we’ll see how jumbo drivers react when a panther or a tiger shows up.
P.S.They’ve already started crying, even though there’s no tank yet.
Jumbo is hardly a Tiger or a Panther. Those tanks are a different league.
All 5.3 in WT. Hahaha.
But pz4 h 4.3
tiger 1 E, the more likely tiger 1: 5.7
panther A/G, panther d is eastern front only: 5.7
jumbo: 5.3
Oh and I can hear the cries of anguish now when they give the Sherman and Jumbo an M61 round.
not really, Tiger and panther is pretty much the same except panther can barely penetrate jumbo frontal armor (in WT it’s yellow indicator iirc) while tiger cant at all (not about the gun port, okay)
then take Tiger H1 or panther D anyway because the game js already inaccurate, problem solved? there’s literally no difference between H1 (5.3) and E (5.7) (except some minor stuff) while A (5.7) is basically just D (5.3) with faster turret traverse just that’s it
This is not Warthunder there are way more factors than just tank v tank.
That aside. With the current dmg model in place those tanks have same front armor as Jumbo except of having a needle for a gun they have a hammer. They will one shot each tank on the field with HE except Jumbo front. Sounds fair to get back at those pesky Americans. How dare they have a tank that is stronger and balance the game out. Fuck em lets wipe the entire balance out of the window so the Germans can have vengeance.
Haven’t read the whole thread so maybe this has been covered - Played a couple of games on Normandy and while the HE does nothing I found the AP to actually work vs Puma - so IMO that is an improvement.
I sincerely hope they get their tiger, it will be slow and cumbersome. They were not made for Urban fighting which is what we have most in Normandy …
They will be easy to flank and easy to det pack just like the Jumbo … Poor Wehra’s just cant catch a break
The worst thing about the tank discussions in this game.
Tanks don’t exist in a vacuum, just like how tank fights don’t happen over a flat open plain where both tanks see each other at the same time and maneuver from there.
Sadly they are going to get the Panther - which will of course lack all the problems that made it not as good as wargamers are led to believe it was.
However it will be very large and clumsy despite having ample power, so will have some problems on some of the Normandy maps, and the weak side armour should be fun for M5’s to poke holes in as they run around it…
realizing enlisted is a game would explain a lot tho
A game where, as I said, tank combat never goes down without outside intervention or without one player having some sort of initiative on the other.
This is exactly why the Puma can threaten the Jumbo.
theoritically yes, practically no
You have a half-post attention span don’t you
i dont really understand what you trying to say
Insulting members that are attempting to provide feedback for something that is most likely not operating as intended is silly at best. This is a forum. People are expected to provide information about their experience in the game.
I’m not asking for sympathy I want a discussion with different point of view (why there always need to fight?)
I only find stupid that a tank lvl 20 can’t kill a lunch box from the sides
Like someone else stated, it may be to give a “chance” for new players (not much of a chance since regular ap will still wreck the lil cat normally)
OR
Bombs mechanics got changed last patch, perhaps tanks HE shells got modified as well as a result.
But even with this… pumas are VERY easy to take down. Jumbos being very slow should NOT get too close to the front line, and use their very good optics to pick them from afar. Mind you it doesn’t mean shooting from grey area, just keeping a healthy buffer of infantry in front of you.
In 80% of the case for shooting at a safe distance 100/120 meters from to point I was borderline Grey area, and I was rushed anyway but with 7 AP I managed to kill the puma with manimal damage.
when I was fighting the puma we lost like 50/70 reinforcement bc I wasn’t supporting the team this make me anoyed.
