This will be my full list of TT aircrafts how a finished Japanese Tech Tree Airforce would look. There is plenty more aircrafts that can be added as premiums and event that didn’t make it to this list but I tried to combine the most needed and the most iconic aircrafts that Japan has to offer that are not yet in the game in the future if you are good I can make stat cards for all of them from all the setups for first time I’m satisfied with this setup. Japan will never be a tank faction so the main selling point is the air force but for some reason the devs are keep pushing Japan to be a tank faction but if you wanna play tanks play Germany Japan is the air force faction:
BR I Fighters:

3.Ki-44-I is a good interceptor BR I fighter but lacks payload however like other factions have no payload BR I aircrafts this is the Japanese one:

1.Mitsubishi Ki-51 Sonia:
Ki-51 Sonia is Japanese Sturmovik with 2 heavy machine guns and a single 250 kg bomb. The aircraft is very armored and can take a lot of damage like the soviet IL aircrafts. It has 7mm armor thickness protection for the pilot and Hull Armor 6.5 mm it has excellent performance similar to a slow fighter aircraft of its BR. Its the most produced Japanese ground attacker of the war 2,385 aircrafts where made so yeah it should be in the TT and in the game. The downside is the limited payload but its excellent performance ,heavy machine guns and armor makes it absolutely enjoyable aircraft to play.

Ki-43-III Otsu have a lot of payloads from bombs to rockets the payload can be balanced to be weaker either rockets or small bombs since the aircraft have good performance.

Some people think this can be BR V aircraft but it cant really there is jet powered variant of this aircraft that can be BR V but not the standard one this aircraft even at BR IV wont see much play but its big bombs can be good option for bad pilots. There is also night fighter variant that maybe can be BR V but not the standard one.

2. Aichi S1A1 Denko - The Thunderbolt 1x250 kg Navy Type Number 25 Model 2 bomb :
This two aircrafts may lack payload but they have insane guns and performance and the 250 kg bomb is central so its made for accuracy against big tanks and the 30 mm cannons will replace the need of rockets and the Aichi S1A Denkō has 20 mm also as a protective armament on top on the 2x20 mm and 2x30 mm at the front so despite having bad payload it has insane firepower and performance so before you tell me they have bad payloads remember the lighting also have but its the most played BR II ground attacker so they are absolutely insane ground attackers.

As vehicle balance goes Japan have problems with tanks and ground attacker payloads however this is compensated with very strong fighters and very strong ground attackers when it comes to performance and weapons.

He is packed with majority of Japanese aircraft so I given him only 1 plane since he has 5 already.
This is the plane redistribution for the pilot classes so they have good amount of option without the ability to combine the most OP stuff. In the future I will make a stat cards when I have time for all this aircrafts overall I tried to make asymmetrical balance and keep the Japanese faction unique from the rest you have very different flavor from the US faction that has insane payloads on their ground attackers here you have insane performance and the fighters are the best selling point of the faction there is no boring aircrafts maybe more bombers can be added but they are just boring to play and require the enemy team to have no aircrafts not to mention Japanese bomber options have bad payloads that simply wont be fun.
Well that’s my final setup for Japanese air force here I tried to stay away from full paper aircrafts only the Aichi S1A Denkō can be considered paper aircraft since the aircraft was not fully completed it was finished on 90 to 95% when it was destroyed. But its for sure not full paper aircraft. There is many more aircrafts left for premiums and events and if we go to paper aircrafts there is some very insane ones but I prefer to stay with the real ones with minimum prototypes only 1 at BR V but everything in BR V Japan is some prototype. Well that’s all from me enjoy when I have time I may finish the stat cards (I really wanna make the allies topic also since there is a lot cool aircrafts missing there) .
