The Modello Albertini took its name from its designer, Giuseppe Albertini, an engineer at Isotta Fraschini. It was produced at the demand of Mussolini’s de facto government (the Repubblica Sociale Italiana ) for use by his troops against anti-fascist partisans. Small quantities were delivered to RSI paratroopers, but the majority of the production run were captured by partisans in April 1945 when they captured Isotta Fraschini’s factories. An estimated total of 250 units were produced.
A great gun, long live the roman empire would love to see this with a paratrooper event squad. A weapon made at the end of the war in limited numbers. The only question is do we go with history and give it to the allies or give to the axis. I cant wait to hear how magically this should be a axis tech tree weapon.

I love weehraboo logic
Built by someone else used by axis it’s axis
Built by axis used by someone else it’s axis
Shocked they are not trying to claim the m1 carbine in the axis tech tree
Italian weapons for an Italian Paratrooper squad. I see nothing wrong with that. Italian partisans can be added with the Italian Front, should that ever happen, it’d be dumb as hell to see Italian Partisans fighting the Japanese in Burma. Or literally anywhere other than Italy
Hot take: guerrilla squad should change depending on the campaign.
Allied guerrillas in Normandy should be French, SAS in Tunisia, Italian partisans in Italy (when added).
Axis get Volkstrum in Berlin and Bulge, Ost troops in SG and Moscow. Italian Arditi Camionettisti in Tunisia.
It was manufactured by FN Herstal, which is located in Belgium, so after the capture of the Lowlands and surrender of the Belgian army a lot of their sidearms were sized and it was just easier to have them continue to produce Hi Powers instead of trying to have them produce something else.
