i’ve finished researching to gun before ppsh41 Obrez i forgot its name lol, anyways i wanted to find any good weapons to research as am gonna move to tier 2 soon. i am pretty much a new player
No, it is not.
Axis overall doesn’t have powerful TT smgs on low BRs, so there’s nothing really to aim for.
But I would say obrez is one of the weaker one. More of a gimmick weapon.

No Obrez is garbage. If i were you i would be using Beretta M1918 and then skip BR2 and just play with ZK-383 at BR3.
They screwed those Tech trees too much just to get to M38/42 you need to unlock two BR3 weapons it’s just dumb.
MP40 is fine but nothing special you will always lose to overpowered PPS-42/43 and M1A1.

Obrez is decent at very short range. It has incredibly high firerate, but low damage and accuracy.
I use it sometimes but I would recommend using the Berretta M1 or M42 instead.

I’ve equipped several of my tank crews with obrez. Specifically to deal with anyone who tries to throw an EP at my tank. And every time I used it, I thought the MP40 would do a better job.
It’s just more comfortable weapon to use.

even though it has a bad damage rate won’t it still be useful from the squad it unlocks? and the firerate seems good if it is used in close quarters
Well yes, but so is the MP40 as well (I think the berretta M1 is even unlocked earlier than the MP40 though you could get the MP38)

If you think you’re good at aimming
There is no better weapon than Automatico (It’s M1918).
This is because TTK is superior to any other weapon.
It is also 9mm, so the range of engagement is the same as that of other guns.
It’s a shame. There is simply nothing special for newbies to strive for or be excited about. Until the kiraly.
Do you mean OVP?
From what I remember, it has pretty limited mag for its rof. Plus horizontal mag is just annoying.

Automatico is M1918, Not the OVP
Automatico is in front of OVP, but the reload side is shorter, so Automatico is better in terms of performance.
I think the positions of the two have changed.
From there, it depends on the upgrade, the quality of the soldier, and the skill of the player.
Honestly, if the player’s skill is good, it’s the best SMG in BR2 more than any weapon, even if the soldier’s quality isn’t super good.
I use this for BR3 as well.
Except for MP41(r), the only thing can deal with is .30 Thompson and PPSh-41(box), ironically, Automatico.

It’s called Beretta M1918 in English version of the game.
Yeah, it’s better than OVP. But still has the same issues.
This is because the gun’s real name is Moschetto Automatico Beretta Modello 1918 (MAB 18).
And this weapon was also called Automatico in Battlefield 1.

Well there are a lot of german SMG that I find somewhat attractive :
The Fnab is not great, but at least it’s different with a high capacity and low firerate.
Most 40 rounds berretta (the 40 rounds M38A is one of my favorite wepon in the game) are well balanced : jacks of all trades, masters of none. They are not the best because they usually lack at shorter ranges but are still reliable.
Thz ZK, I am not a big fan, but it gets the job done at shorter ranges.

So it have to solve that problem with the player’s skill.
If solve that problem, it can project the most powerful firepower of any weapon. (Up to mid-range)
That’s why I use this on BR3 as well (though the problem is that BR3 TT SMG doesn’t have a good gun)
But I guarantee you, if you get over it, it’s the most powerful SMG in BR2.
I’m also using this on BR3 (top priority is MP41(r))
And if it’s a rifle in BR2, I recommend using either Mannlicher M1895 or Armaguerra Mod.39.
However, the M39 requires max upgrade. (including soldiers)
