That’s not quite accurate. Back then, hardly anyone expected defeat except Yamamoto Isoroku.
Seppuku was rarely practiced by the navy, it was far more common within the army.
People complaining about the A Bombs being bad should go read about what the US airforce did to Dresden or Tokyo.
Literally 100% spot on - the nukes were just a power flex.

Work culture in Japan is terrible… there is good things about Japan but there is also bad. But Im a Republican sooner the hell will freeze then I will support a monarchy… xD
To be honest, I think it would be better to restore Japan’s monarchy with you as the monarch. Let those incompetent officials step down and replace them with a new generation of young talents, free from bureaucratic hereditary influence. In that regard, the situation in the DPRK is far more preferable by comparison.
