Really beginning to wonder if the devs have a hatred with Japan. Love the new event but Japan has been ignored once again.

Thankfully. They had nothing to do with the victory in europe… they caused their own war.

…it becomes boring quite fast… hell they don’t even have an assault rifle, because devs lazily downgraded it to br4 instead of giving it an adequate mag size.

Hypothesis: if Japan didn’t have to face Soviets, it would have kept getting nice things.

Oh, my dear Japanese friends, stop complaining. Next month’s battle pass will get you the Type 38 plate rifle with a bolt-action machine gun magazine. As for Germany, that’s probably out of the question.
Had the US not dropped two Atom bombs, the war would have continued much longer with a US invasion of Japan, and that would have given Gaijin more gaming content for us to play today.

I’ve been to Tokyo a few times and it was kind of cool to look back at pictures I had taken and see before and after WW2 photo’s of structures that are still there today when everything around them was destroyed.

Well, technically, the Allies could have simply blockaded Japan once the outlying islands had capitulated. Sure, the war would have extended a few more months, but it would have prevented a land invasion of the home islands. There really wasn’t any need for the A-bombs other than to peacock flex at Russia.

To be fair it is a VE day event…victory in Europe where Japan had nothing to do with. The real crime is how it’s weighted on the Soviets again.

And my point being, as has been confirmed by a multitude of historians, is that the A-bombs never needed to be dropped, nor a mainland invasion of Japan needed to happen. Blockading the country would have absolutely have been enough. As what happened with Germany in WWI.
And let’s not forget that the Allies called for unconditional surrender, which in the Japanese eyes at the time, meant that their Emperor would also have to abdicate, which their parliament wasn’t prepared to do (which is why it was written into the surrender terms that the Emperor could retain his standing, even in name only).
The entirety of the Imperial Japanese was a “war crime”

Not completely accurate. You seem to be black-and-whiting them without reading into the geopolitics of the time.
Did the Japanese commit war-crimes? Absolutely. It’s well documented. Were they the only ones to commit war-crimes? Absolutely not. Every single major (and some minor) players between 1936 and 1945 all committed war-crimes in some way or another.
But I like how you quoted the first sentence of my previous post without referencing the rest of it for context. Nice gaslighting.
