Is it hatred?

What kind of geo politics justify their idiotic samurai “culture” which they didn’t even properly adhere to and was only used to incentivize their soldiers to blindly fight to the literal end with no surrender and or care to the fellow men on the battlefield.

Imagine if you said that about Nazi Germany… have you no idea of their internal struggle that made them want to conquer europe?

Samurai culture? You mean Bushido, yeah? All irrelevant.

But the Cult of Personality? Quite common at the time (and also nowadays too, unfortunately).

I’d say the same… Cult of Personality… It wasn’t the German people that wanted to conquer Europe. It was the ideals of a very mediocre man who had delusions of grandeur that caused all that shite. (Again, we can see similarities with some of the current world leaders).

And let’s not forget that it was all the rage at the time. Even Churchill and Roosevelt had their share of it, and still do. Those personalities are still revered in the West. As are still Stalin and Hitler and Mao, in the other main players of WWII in their respective countries. Japan rejected all that shite after the war and declared themselves a pacifist nation. But sure, they’re “abhorrent”

I have no more words i’m willing to say other than I digress as this is a conversation that is naturally bordering the lines regardless of my rather provocative responses.

Only willing to engage in such as it was mentioned.

Hate speech of a fascist military force that was as equally brutal if not more than the soviets or germans? Hate speech of an ideal that was a backbone of said force that only furthered said brutality? Hide in a tree or get killed by your officer. Surrender not being an option? I will note i said abhorrent japanese which on me i didnt specify imperial japanese which is what i meant.

Rationalizing the loss of Japanese civilians as it saved the lives of US troops.

Well actually the Italians where less brutal then the Japanese and the Nazis the fascist where actually even not anti sematic this is something they copied from the nazis same like racism since many of them where married to black women. The fascists where brutal but far less then the nazis or the Japanese. Not to mention Mussolini was a socialist when he was young so to me to this day its funny that fascist hate communism despite their entire movement would not exists if it was not for Marx xD

Well that’s a very, very important specification to make… especially after saying killing their civilians is better than fighting… AND having such a nickname…

Just saying. Civilians should always be off limits… in an ideal world.

I am truly grateful that I don’t live in a country where hate speech is essentially considered a crime against humanity.
All the while, folks in that same country are increasingly afraid to go for walks in the city, since a potentially dangerous drug addict is lurking around every corner.

Every time I see the term “hate speech,” this is exactly what comes to mind.

I’m not sure, but the forum might have relevant discussions.

My proposal to downgrade the Type 3 to BR2 got rejected. Germany has the 75mm-armed Panzer IV, and Japan has equivalent ordnance too—its penetration even surpasses 80mm. I just can’t figure out why this vehicle adjustment got stalled.

Also, let’s stop complaining about Japan’s faction balance. It’s simply that DF progresses slowly, and development drags for all factions alike.

Japan’s original vehicle roster is far too limited, resulting in very few deployable units. Take the turretless prototype Type 5 gun tank for example: it ticks every box of a subpar tank yet still performs exceptionally well. Doesn’t this make you suspect the Japanese faction gets preferential treatment? Let’s first evaluate how dominant Japan’s current BR5 lineup is before drawing further conclusions.

Well, how should I put it? It is reminiscent of Japan’s historical seppuku culture. To put it plainly, it is a practice where those truly accountable are pressured to take their own lives as a supposed way to resolve problems. In reality, the underlying issues are never addressed. Instead, eliminating those capable of solving the problems is treated as a resolution in itself.

Nowadays, more and more problematic figures in Japan are disrupting peace across Asia. They provoke sanctions from China, yet remain utterly complacent about their wrongful actions.

I hope so…their TT needs a LOT of help…all over.

Since we’re off on vacation, the top picks are the Lubyanka Grand Hotel and the Gulag Resort. After that, we’ll go on a “grassland road trip”, stay at the “Arctic Circle research camp”, and finally go to meet Comrade Stalin.

Indeed, historically, Mussolini held an ambiguous attitude and did not persecute Jews in the early stage. It was not until 1938 that he took the initiative to implement anti-Semitic policies to consolidate the Italo-German alliance, so he did not hold anti-Semitic positions throughout his rule. After his downfall in 1943, Germany took control of the region and began to build concentration camps.

  1. Kita Ikki was a socialist in his early years, yet his ideology deviated from orthodox communism and centered on the Japanese Emperor. He later shifted to national socialism and Pan-Asianism, eventually becoming a core figure of right-wing ideological trends.

In fact, hostility between the two sides would still exist even without communism. This is fundamentally a conflict between the right wing and the left wing. Without communism or Marxism, both sides would state their positions more plainly: workers rising up against oppression, or the idea that the working class ought to be fully controlled by conservative elites.

After all, during the era of the German National Socialist Workers’ Party, the workers’ relatively decent livelihoods were entirely sustained by warfare plunder.

Japan suffered far more tragically in wars. The common people endured great hardship during the war, and their plight grew even worse after defeat.

The German National Socialist Workers Party was a workers party as much as democratic republic of Korea is democratic or a republic XD His entire idea was ‘‘blood and soil’’ xD Nazism and fascism in general dont have economic model like capitalism or communism they barrow from other systems or directly plunder land and resorces… like his blood and soil concept xD

Haha, you know Soviet jokes pretty well. I also have some Cultural Revolution jokes. Back then, if you messed up, you had to wear a white hat and go “city walk” in the streets, and get whipped like a top with a copper-headed belt.

By the way, does this kind of reaction have anything to do with Musk open-sourcing the algorithm recommendations on X recently, letting the outside world see the bad side of Japan? Many people there say that Japanese people feel ashamed when they make mistakes, but the shame is about being caught, not about changing their ways—they just apologize.

Well I dont know I have visited Japan long time ago mostly on vacations and I lived a bit in Hokkaido that was very very long time ago.

I remember some international students described Japan in this way:

  1. Those who are genuinely fond of Japanese culture and praise Japan as perfect are mostly not residing in Japan.
  2. Most lovers of Japanese anime only keep to the ACG circle.
  3. On the contrary, people who have lived in Japan for a long time rarely speak highly of it. They only regard it as mundane, depressing, and even old-fashioned and rigid.
