Improve Armaguerra Mod. 39, to make it more suitable for BR2

yes, you can get a 6th bullet on japanese semis, but you gotta reload x2 times to archieve that, which means x2 reload time (assuming its empty)

2.6s / 5 bullets = 0.52s per bullet. 0.52s x 6 = 3.12s, which is more or less the current reload speed of armaguerra. so proportionally, both guns already got a nearly identical reload speed per bullet.

type otsu used to be at a higher br, so its stats were overbuffed to justify its old br placement as it had a pretty bad performance. definitively should be nerfed a bit now that its br 2.

fedorov uses a more powerful round (as reflected by its recoil), you cant compare them 1:1

I remember when Type Otsu first lower to BR2, it only dealt 13.4 damage. And it not only did not been nerfed, but also got damage buff.

The logic here is that if you knock down an enemy with just one shot, you don’t actually need to consider recoil too much, because when aiming at other targets, you need to drag the mouse anyway, and recoil has little impact on this process. For weapons that require two shot to knock down enemies, high recoil(also fire rate) have a huge negative impact.
Considering that most rifles have the same firing rate, there will be a significant difference in killing efficiency, and faster reloading is needed to compensate for the firepower.

I didn’t discuss nonTT rifles before. The American Liu rifle also has 6 bullets, deals 15.3 damage and a 3.2 sec reload.
IMO your calculation is correct only when their firepower(In this case, it means the ability to one shot kill) is consistent. And this is exactly what Armaguearra lacks.

type otsu was overtied (for a 5 rounds semi) and needed two shots to down/kill a vitality soldier (and it still does vs soviet armor, but thats another matter…). both these problems were solved, i dont know in which order, but that doesnt matter; absurdly high rof, absurdly fast reload speed (when empty) and 100% recoil control is way too much. there is no point in using type hei when this one is massively superior in most regards

I think the real issue here is that germany lacks a fedorov analogue. something like a zh-29 (5 rounds) or armaguerra (7.35mm) would probably suffice.

a big recoil buff and a slight reload time reduction would already make a noticeable improvement. I use armaguerra all the time in br 2, even if it’s not meta, and I have no complains.

All it needs is a buff to 14 or 14.2 damage. The federov also needs a nerfs to the same amount of damage (14/14.2)
