although i would say the germans have better late game equipment (purely because of the fg 42 II lol), the reason the commies are getting dunked on is almost entirely because of the amount of players on each side. not the guns
In normal matches today with soviet i lose only 2 time on 6 hours of game probably all german try harder are in the event now (lucky me) 
I have lost my sanity getting to the top 25 by just playing allies, at the same time im grinding the War Thunder event.
Also MG-34/42 combined with the FG-42/II is just insane, soviet MGs are crap compared to those.

Just avoid Soviet side.

i am contemplating playing soviets for a few matches for the score per minute lol. spawncamping as axis for 30 minutes because no one is leaving spawn makes my score per minute shit, locking me out of the top 10

Its not the fg the problem, the problem is the huge ammount of axis player come to pass their holiday in berlin for the tiger
OR
they can use only random faction so the two faction have same ammount of player for the event? 
We can fix (imo at least) events or the game. I vote for the 2nd option. Alhough ideally both ideas should be implemented.
