If not historical accuracy try historical based

Rather than outright balance vs accuracy can the compromise be a mix. An attempt to keep the right equipment in the right maps would go a long way. Some of the equipment in the game that never existed is still fun, but trying to keep the game based on history (which by the way is reality) would also mean a lot lest we end up with Museum Simulator™

Ive been trying to push ideas like this for months, almost none of then had been effective for both crowds of players yet. Id say take veekay45’s idea for minus one plus one and then change the early war weapons of all factions that are in br 5 to br4

I don’t think the Germans in Moscow would like the drum PPDs in the enemy’s hands

sure just make the game full pve otherwise balance will crush any dream of that, because in reality the Germans steam rolled the USSR for the first half of the war then got rolled oh yeah that looks like fun.

Why is that a bad thing? It already is a museum simulator anyway, with a huge number of prototypes and stuff that was never used in WW2.

Is this the HA-week?

Stay tuned for history channels HA week, shitty ideas all week long.

I literally played only the Moscow campaign, PPD was never a problem.

Faced them before, we shall again if necessary.

Real ones remember the dark days of the T-50’s introduction. Tactics had to adapt. Not everything should be a 1:1 balance this isnt Apex

only cause fedorov, ppsh41, AVS36, t50, t34 were bigger problems.

And the tactic was to change the team or campaign.

In Moscow, most of those didn’t exist. If they did I never saw them.

Id also remind the counters to said guns came ~10lvls later to german side.
Ppsh was somewhere at ~26? Lvl with memeberetta 20mag
And the actual counter to ppsh kiraly was somewhere +30lvl
F2 was 39 if I recall.

Nvm

Yeah Moscow was textbook case of retarded “balance”.
But somehow DF never learned from it… Im looking at you M2 carbine vs Type 4 rifle.

Could have actually worked if they had introduced artificial nerfs / buffs to guns.
If the MP40 for example would have actually been better at mid-long range otherthan 0.2 more dmg it could have worked.
But as Mp40 / 35 had technically same stats, near identical recoil, dispersion compared to ppsh with almost twice the rof and mag size.
Idk how it was such a surprise for df it didnt work.

Type hei automatic ? While I get it, japanese lacks in other categorys but no way in hell the type hei stays as it is.
Upgraded first 6* type hei yesterday, it really has near 0 recoil.
And if the rumours are true the T20 ? Or what ever it is will come to murrican TT.

Pre merge Pacific didn’t have Type hei auto, but M2 carbine was a thing for allies.

Never actually tried pre-merge pacific, wasnt very popular for obvious reasons if I recall.
aka hei vs m2 and so on

Hei wasn’t added yet pre merge, m2 counter was the 10rd Japanese garand copy

Yeah, type 4 meant that.
