I know it's christmas, but is this normal? - upgrade prices

so, for some reason, three of my tankers can be upgraded for different prices.

what?..

why?

tanker number one, in order to be a V tanker, i have to spend:

for the second tanker;

and for the third:

18
1
12

what’s up with those prices?

why are so inconsistent?

that is not new.

they all cost 54

Perhaps you have partly trained some of them previously (using the “Training” button) so now it’s cheaper to fully train them to a new star.

Pretty sure it’s because of your stats on your guys, the guy in the middle has near max stats so upgrading him to rank 5 is the cheapest

so i can just cheesy the system and keep spending the training upgrade for then spend only 1 ticket and saving so many bronze tickets?

I’ll try this out

No, it’ll still cost the same you’re just paying one at a time

Have you ever used a training upgrade?

How i understand the system works:
Training costs 1 Bronze for T1 Troops and gives 1 Random Perk point that i can give before the max point amount for that starlevel is reached.

Level up will give you all Perk Points for this star level at once and +1 star level, so it is more expensive at the beginning, but it costs decrease with each normal training.

The cost upgrade of a star depend of the rank of the soldier (I, II, III).

Rank I:
2 :star: 6bronze tickets
3 :star: 6bronze tickets
4 :star: 6bronze tickets
5 :star: 18bronze tickets

Rank II:
2 :star: 6bronze tickets
3 :star: 6bronze tickets
4 :star: 18bronze tickets
5 :star: 54-or 56bronze tickets

So sometime it’s better to have rank I troops, because it’s cheaper. It mainly depend on the passive trait associated with the rank.

i know

nothing
new

( to me )

as there are no reasons to take them, i can simply skip them.

and max out my type 1 soldiers

I’ve had this happen with a lot of soldiers and wondered why that was the case.

I guess it’s something new to you.

The difrence in prices comes from the star level, and the number of perk points the soldier have on that level. when they have the same stars but Diferent prices come down to the perk points the soldier already have, because it isn’t a straight foward upgrade untill level 4. The level 5 will have the same maximal outcome.

How to prove this:

Have 2 level 4 soldiers. Exacly with the same perks.
Insted of upgrading one, train it one or two times.
He will have diferent perk numbers and the one with more perk points will be cheaper to upgrade to level 5,ence why I stated a premium soldier from the gerat 03 squad costed so much, because, they have Alot of perk points on level 4.

Because soldiers from the same level can have diferent perk outcomes untill level 5, ence why the same tier 1 or 2 at level 4 will have diferent upgrade costs to level them up.

A level 5 will always have the same outcome per tier.

err… no.

i just “bought” perks to fill those tankers and once my dude reached level 4 with the yellow stars, that dude still costed me 1 bronze.

the other dude that was only 12 bronze order, i spended a few of those more on training and he was the same price.

so my guess is, the more you train them, the cheaper those dudes becomes.

which at this point, for save additional bronze orders i just spend them in the training and then upgrade them once they all have the yellow perks.

Spending on training or buying a full level once costs exacly the same

I have tested this befor.

Again, diferent costs on same level soldier from same tier comes from the perk numbers they have. Just that.

For the first and third soldier to get same amount of skill-points as your second soldier. They need 16 and 12 points respectively. Soldier 1 will still cost 2 more orders and soldier 2 will cost 1 more order to rank up after that. This gives the first soldier 1 more skill-point and the third, 1 less skill-point than your second soldier.

Stats are not fixed and is a small range they can differ which means everything you see here is correct. The only reason the price shows different is because you have pressed “Training” a couple times instead of going directly for “Rank V”.

Training is useful for when you need like 1-2 speed and do not wish to spend the whole Rank increase price to roll for the desired perk. Keep in mind there is a cap. So you can’t try to luck into getting 30 speed for some weird perk build.

Hi! You own this squad?
My friend is looking for it, and he would like to know the stats of the soldiers at 5 stars.
Won’t you mind to take a screenshot, when you will be in the game?
