Sadly I have a bad video game habit that spans decades. This is maybe in my top 5 hours into a game.

At least a few 1000 into Skyrim, Morrow wind (Who does not like hoarding in those games!)
RDR, GTA 1000’s into that as well
Almost 1000 hours into a Rocksmith 2014+
HALO back in the day with all the achievements. No looking that stuff up!
Hearts of Iron (1000+) It took Patton a very long time to conquer the world. Europe (West Asia), Africa, Asia, Oceania South America before our American Global domination victory parade in Washington DC. Or when I took over the world with Germans after turning Russia into nuclear glass. HOI is famous for its steep learning curve and real time clock. 1000’s of units. 1,081 states, 13,381 provinces, and 304 strategic regions.
I decided to be iron willed about the Bike kills. It takes nerves of steel with as many units as I have filled out. I just never found them appealing whatsoever and just ran with it for years.

Been gaming avidly since I was 4 so I can relate to those hours on a lot of those games you’ve played quite well haha. These days with what I do play and recently used to; I’m around 2400h for Enlisted. 2100 for Red Dead Online, 1200 Hunt Showdown, 6000 R6 Siege, 2000 Genshin and about 750 Arknights Endfield.
Congrats on the 100 days play time. The only other game I’ve sunk serious (recorded) time into is Fallout New Vegas (850 ish) and Fallout 3 (250 ish) now combined them to be TTW. I have a dumb-ass question if you don’t mind: how many pistol kills do you have? I likely have a lot less than you but I’m curious at to how many for the hours compared (I have around 1500 pistol kills from my vague recollection).

Maybe a few 100 at most. Pistols are just a side weapon. And I might as well add a 1000h for fallout 1,2,3,4 New Vegas (I have 76 do not play it) 1000’s into every EA Sports game as well. I played franchise mode on so many of those games.
Thanks, I recently got fallout 1 & 2 as well as tactics, just started playing Fallout 1 It’s fun spare the crunchy UI. Think I’ll leave 4 and 76 because they seem pretty goofy (thanks for heads up on fallout 76). I like playing pistols because they can help, but they can get you killed too (looking at you M1895 Nagant), more often than not I find the pistol useful for CQB because of the bogas bolt action dispersion when you fire in too quick succession. The main thing that got me hooked on pistols in enlisted was the “Gates of Destiny” Halloween event a while ago where the 1911 was cheap and stacked ammo so you could always pick it up even when everyone else had bought the better stuff (nearly finished the mode once like this with some good randoms at the time and the 1911).
Don’t run out of gas or you will find that car again! Was that the terrible event where you had to get kills for a better weapon? I think the first weapon was better to melee people with.
I’m one of those rare people who prefer Fallout 3 over New Vegas. I played them way later (3 years ago), and in quick succession. I found 3 felt more polished to me. Unpopular opinion
I always forget to switch to pistols in CQC and end up paying for it, shoot with boltie and miss, try to bayonet, but already dead. And I’ve got pistols on everyone. Exception is the artillery luger. I make sure to use that as much as possible since i got it. It’s on my lead engineer on my engi 2 squad, who is an absolute hero in most matches.
Under 1k I am 4 times more likely to melee you than to bother with a pistol. I have been playing Japan one for sh*ts and giggles the past week since Japan has no middle ground. I enjoy the slower pace and like playing more laid back and creative. Like being more diabolical with engineering and just being an overall menace.
Fallout 4 is descent with mods, now I kind of buy a lot of games use wand play through them. Was doing that with Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, Terraria, Easy Red 2 a few weeks back. I have GE Force now and many 100’s of games a person collects being on Steam and Epic (I have a stupid number of games from them, every free game since they started doing that years ago). But I play a lot of games for the art, design functionality sake. The two I play consantly are Enlisted and Rocksmith 2014 just because I enjoy playing guitars and with CDLC the the music selection is unparalleled. I have around 2100 functioning tracks, tons of paid DLC. Its my anti Enlisted. I can spend hours exploring that special magic that makes a song amazing.
The bass on this for example, I hate bass by nature its 4 strings but sometimes there are those special players that make them sing like a guitar. 4/4 on bass done right.
I have a couple songs I play everytime I fire the program up to burn it into my head.
This has great finger efficiency. Its funny I will play Enlisted then guitar then back to Enlisted they both lend themselves for hand eye coordination. I am a lefty playing right so its even more of a hand exercise.

I paint figures when I’m not doing enlisted, so I guess that’s my equivalent to playing Rocksmith 2014 and doing some fine work.
Not my favorite work but a it’s picture I had on hand (8th army medic 1/72). Love painting WWII USMC and WWII Japan, often ill sit on the Enlisted menu while I pain or listen to some Jams. Also melee is pretty valid, must have been killed a dozen times trying to pistol kill someone only to get decapitated. Gotta say being diabolical with engineers as you put it is one of the mot fun aspects to Enlisted. Also coincidentally thanks I didn’t know “go with the flow” was by Queens of the Stone Age (heard it in the soundtrack to Juiced 2004 (street racing game)). Haven’t really listed to them (yet) but I have listened to Kyuss lots who was the preceding band, Josh Homme was the creator/leader of Kyuss and when Kyuss split he created Queens of the stone Age to be more “popular”, apparently not as pop as I thought.
I found this thifting. Its like the Enlisted board game. I jsut never got around to doing anything with it. It reminded me of childhood. It was a really cool find because of the details.
I go crazy with the hammer, if I know they are steam rolling us I will set a wonderful trap. This particular one withstood an almost losing battle. I am not the best k/d in our group but by far the best engineer.
That’s a lucky find, always thought those diorama sets were neat. I’ve built three of those Airfix Sherman’s but only one properly, I’m more skilled as a result but it’s painful to look back, similarly there’s plenty of poorly assembled figures and poorly painted figures
“Current” thing I’m working on is USAF trucks and ordinance after I completed an old (probs 70’s) B-17 kit.

Plastic modeling particularly figures for me is a lot of fun, no doubt Enlisted was in part insparation for my Diorama about three years ago now, (I need to promise myself I’ll finish it a some point). Btw If I were you go for it build it yolo I’d just pick up some model railway supply’s to help because paint can only do so much. Back to the engi engi engineer gaming however yep I imagine that would put a crimp on any advance.
That is awesome. I made a project of the first guitar I got, it did not go well! I used epoxy and it did not turn out good at all. But that is the charm of the first guitar its suppose to be a grizzled beast of a guitar. Its very much “me”. I just realized I never restrung my SG. I do not play that one much because its an antique but has a sound to it.
