I wanted to go to Normandy in BR3, but I ended up in Tunisia. I even specifically designed my squad for Normandy, and the Fw190A-8 isn’t deployed in Tunisia, yet I ended up there. I hate this. I can’t play my favorite campaign every day. I wish things could go back to how they used to be.

It’s a shame that we can’t choose campaign now, but understand that we don’t have so many players now, if we go back to how it used to be then there’ll be certain campaign that nobody plays now.
Go play two man custom match, you can go anywhere and play any mode you want, against as many bots as you want. I play Tunisia all the time in custom match.

Yes, I understand what you mean by that indication, but all of those units participated in the Normandy campaign, and none of them went to Tunisia except for the APC squad. I apologize for the lack of clarity.
What a pity. The cannon arrangement and rockets excel in the open terrain.
The main issue is that Enlisted doesn’t have enough players online, leading to random matchmaking for campaigns. If you want to play the Normandy campaign, choosing Tier 3 or Tier 5 German equipment will increase your chances of getting into Normandy.
“Tunisia 1944” is really fun to play. I remember seeing some fan art of that theme and recreating it in Enlisted It’s really entertaining.
Lately, I think that’s gotten worse, since going from BR2 to BR4 more or less, the matchmaking just goes from bad to worse. What I do notice is the large number of Soviet players fighting mostly against Japan, while the Germans mostly end up facing the Western Allies.
Players wanted to get rid of player choices. Why merge happened. This game will never allow player choice.
I custom sometimes. Wish rewards where normal. 300 silver kills me
You’ll get used to it. Unless you’re in Tier 3 or Tier 2 matchmaking, you generally won’t use the German team to win in a losing game. Unless someone is deliberately slacking off, you absolutely cannot lose.
I’ve generally been using Germany at lower BRs lately, but as I said, since it’s been a bit difficult lately (Tommies and M1s are something to deal with), maybe it’s time to go back to BR5. Interestingly, I do better with Japan at BR5, especially in the urban area of Heilongjiang. This map and the Tunisia maps are the ones I personally enjoy the most. Maps with very open areas aren’t my thing unless I’m using machine guns or providing tank support.
Yeah, if you need silver two man custom matches can be brutal. The only time I need silver any more is if I have sent soldiers to the rear when changing around squad makeup’s and I need silver and experience for my new soldiers.
If only we had a system that lets us choose what maps to play…
That, or more XP gained in custom games, even if it’s with a special ticket or something like that
In short, try to avoid playing against the Allies in Tier 2 or 3 matchmaking, as Germany’s Tier 3 and Tier 2 weapon tech trees have relatively low stats, making defeat almost inevitable. Unless Enlisted officially fixes this bug in the future, you will be on the defensive and destined to lose in Tier 3 matchmaking. In Tier 5 matchmaking, as long as your equipment is good enough, you can compete against opponents of similar skill.
This is a pay to wim game. Prrem helps
ah no problem we understand you germany if it doesnt have a decent team sucks at least with urrs you can carry but with germany is better to not waste time doing it
In other words, that would be the best option. No SMG in those BRs comes close to the Thompson’s damage or the PPsh’s rate of fire. Even the German tanks in BR2 and 3 are really bad. Many will say the Panzer IV is good because of its gun, but even the short-barreled T-34 tears it to pieces. BR5 is good if you know how to play your strategy and equipment, and I can’t complain about their tanks in that BR either.
In Tier 2-3 combat, ideally you should carry at least three submachine gun squads (including two high-tier squads), along with anti-tank weapons and fighter jets or tanks. The Allies’ advantage in low-level combat lies in their submachine guns, but early German submachine guns either lacked sustained firepower or had too slow a rate of fire. For medium-range engagements, the MP-40 is the preferred choice; while for close-range rapid fire, the Beretta A38 with a 20-round short magazine is the best option. The MP3008 is also well-suited for guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines. Therefore, as long as you avoid using bolt-action rifles against Allied submachine guns and your teammates are skilled enough, you have approximately a 50% chance of winning.
