How did you first hear about Enlisted?

Just out of curiosity, how did you know about Enlisted?

I ask the question because for me it was totally by chance !
For me it was in January 2021 I think, I was a little bored so I was spending my time in Instagram, and while looking at the comments of a post of the “Musée des Blindés de Saumur”, 2 people were discussing about it.

At the time the game was in closed beta, so I hesitated a lot before buying the Russian/German pack (the prices were already pretty high at the time…), but without (too much) regret now !
And what about you ?

buddy of mine mentioned the war thunder guys made a pretty ok fps that just came out of closed beta a couple days prior. i was bored and it was free so i just tried it out

I watched some YT videos (thanks to the magic of algorithm) and I thought that it’s the game I was waiting for (FPS with AI squad I can command).

So for me the game is a letdown as the AI squads aspect is rather poor.

Typed in Google something about Heroes and Generals and got other results as well: Enlisted. So I started to play the Alpha then.

I was playing and the time I was watching videos on youtube of HLL and out of nowhere a nice free game called enlisted appeared, I tried it and now I’m here

on the same day 1st alpha was anounced i was asking for a ww2 game
found the news about the alpha.
did apply and luckly did get in.

hng forum did had lots of topics about this game tho.

At the time you didn’t had to pay to join the Alpha ?

apply and wait for the email/aproval and or get the code to get on the discord (in 2020 was the cuisine royal one)

i didnt had to pay to play closed beta after it. i was granted permition to play.

Watched an awesome soviet movie (brestkaya krepost) which motivated me to play more soviet ww2 games. I knew battlefield and call of duty but none of them had russians. So i searched for other ww2 games on youtube, and found enlisted :slight_smile: cant remember the exact date though

I first heard Enlisted is when I saw someone playing Enlisted battle of Berlin on Youtube, early 2021. I play Enlisted also by chance, when I finally get a computer that is capable of running low end games on May 2021, I was initially going to play hng. But the not updated graphic card driver causing that game to crash frequently.

So I remember this Enlisted game so I give it a try. I was initially afraid it won’t run because the minimal graphic card requirement is gtx 660 and I have iris xe. But it turns out I can run this game 1080 p on medium with stable 30 fps.
