I was tired of the kind of games that i was playing at the moment, so my first idea, when i was just looking at my library in steam was jump back to Red Orchestra 2, which for my is a great game. But now it’s pretty much dead, sadly. So i search for similar type of games and i found this. A little more arcade than i want, but whatever i guess lol

saw it in 2017 through a youtube video which was the first ever video released on that channel.

gave a look at the website, and it was intriguing.

later on, joined in the 1st april of 2020 as alpha tester for the first time in enlisted on moscow, then the berlin, and… here i am :slight_smile: .

somewhere in the middle of 2020 my friend @107975813 told me about a new game that included AI squad gameplay… we wanted new AI WW2 game quite badly after modded Battlefield 2 where were planes and tanks too but bad AI , and after ruined heroes and generals

he assured me that war thunder backing it is good sign and it should not become pay to win like heroes and generals :smiley:

once i saw gameplay videos and learned the fact that such good looking game would run my PC from napoleonic wars … after few months of considering it we finally bought it

and when first progression wipe of CBT occured, we also joined this community :smiley:

it was august of 2021, i was losing my braincells trying to play heroes and generals, not only was it annoying me but it also ran like absolute dogshit (14fps on a Ryzen 7 3700x)
i got real tired sooner or later and i looked at other games, eventually i was suggested enlisted, i had darkness fallen upon my eyes as i figured out that its gaijin’s secondary company making it.
(prior to h&g i quit war thunder after seeing the price for Tiger H1)

tldr; enlisted to me is a better alternative to hng and wt

YT gameplay videos.
I had no cool WW2 game to play at the time, so I watched YT for some inspiration.
Some nice games there, Enlisted looked the nicest.
Everytime an Enlisted video came by, I watched with great interest.
Then I learned it is free to play, you can put in as much cash as you like or nothing at all.
So I decided to play for myself and not watch somebody else play.
Now I’ve been playing daily since I started, about 4 or 5 months ago maybe.
And I’m enjoying every battle and every minute of it.

I was searching for an alternative to WW2 Online and found this here game.
It’s not quite the same, but so far the closest modern thing to it.

I like to watch phlydaily play WT and he did a video on it a long time ago about the announcement and gameplay video. Thought it looked interesting so I decided to follow the developments.

Firstly Facebook ads (IK right) still didnt check it out, because you know FB ads.

Then i saw it being discussed on the HnG forums, got sick of HnG and decided to check it out. Didnt look back since. Atleast until i found HLL

I applied to be in the alpha in around 2016/17, didn’t get in, forgot about the game until April of 2021 where a ConeOfArc community post announcing the game was in OBT showed up in my feed and reminded me of the game’s existence.

My clan play BF4 and a friend of mine mentioned Enlisted. We all came and tried it, I loved it but unfortunately my clan ran back to BF4. This game is just what I have been waiting for for years, I`m really enjoying it. I still game on BF4 with them but my heart is here now :grinning:
