Oh crap. You’re right. Somehow I misremembered the forgotten weapons video about the avs and thought they were talking about the AVT. Dang.
Wasn’t the AVT in the moscow campaign? I guess I should verify my knowledge of these things before making posts…
No. There was AVS.
If the Soviets get a ZB-26 with a 15-round magazine and an auto rifle skin, that thing better be an AVS.
I think this thing should have been made back in the campaigns. The Soviets would have had a normal starting machine gun, and the Germans wouldn’t have suffered from the lack of an automatic rifle as a thing.
and AGAIN… BRV is ANYTHING BUT immersive to what anyone wants in ww2 game… BRV becomes constant explosions chaos 24/7 die every other second BUT with the ability to use high powered weapons.
please… for the love of GOD quit trying to water it down. stay in 3!
Then it doesn’t belong in Enlisted.
That is completely subjective comment. I play for that reason… so anything low power… representing early war shouldn’t be in enlisted.
go on dude… that was ridiculous… the entirety of the tech tree past BR3 and every single prototype… unique weapon… damn near everything that’s not what every other basic ww2 game has should be removed because it’s not what the crowd wants.
Literally is it so hard to just not play it and let us have fun… you arent going to play it anyway… were you the one who responded to my question? Because i know damn well you were sarcastic… in fact i’ll take the liberty of watching a few of your replays after the update to see if you’ll follow suit on your promise… let me make note of it.
Must you then inform me of every time you don’t play BRV? That’s bullshit and we both know it.
Difference is i don’t go into 3 and then cry about shit… because there isn’t anything to cry about… yet i don’t cry even in 5… yet when you play in 5 you cry. spot the difference. hence why you should stay in 3.
I want BRIV to be playable and enjoyable. SF Rifles are a jump several stories high instead of a step up. Nothing else in BRV, even the incredible amount of HE everywhere, comes close to that.
When i say cry that’s in reference to you complaining about things that kill you a lot, are high power (the core of BRV) etc to note.
Honestly? Completely fair. You should be advocating for separated matchmaking not trying to make 5 lower to 4… that’s not how tiers work… when you play the lower one you risk the chance at getting uptiered into HIGHER POWER equipment aka you have semi autos and they have full auto.
Will this negatively impact matchmaking? Probably… however i don’t desire to have players like you who willingly handicap theirselves by playing BRIV in my lobbies anyway… so that would benefit me personally.
Higher Equipment must remain at a step up. SF Rifles don’t. Every other Uptier, even BR2 to BR3, is perfectly fine and enjoyable but the massive difference between BR4 and BR5 is too much. A G41 will never win in an even fight against an AVT-40. A M1 Carbine against a G41 is doable.
Separate Matchmaking would be great but it should be implemented everywhere if it is implemented. Exceptions like BR1 or BR5 being cut off while the rest remains the same is not a good idea.
We can disagree here because doing that would eliminate a lot of people’s excuses for new content being added in tier 2 and 5.
And i’m fighting the urge to pick at your comparison of br3 weapon to 5 maybe it was a mistake because yes you can win against avt 40 with a g43… surely it will be harder to use.
The G43 is BRIV.
Be that as it may we are moving off topic for this suggestion and should probably refrain from continuing lest it be closed.
I didn’t say it has to be 101% immersive, but 75% is better than 45%. I don’t mind prototypes, experiments, and all that stuff
But automatic rifles do not make sense given their historical role and use during WW2 to be a standard Riflemen weapon
Bruh what. Those auto rifles ARE THE standard rifleman weapon in BRV (late war)
Automatic rifles did not become the standard infantry weapon until the Cold War, and then they were replaced by assault rifles as the standard firearm. Should we let Riflemen use assault rifles because eventually they became the standard issue firearm in the future.
In WW2 assault rifles were developed as an evolution of the submachine gun. Thus they are an Assault class weapon
With automatic rifles, the Federov was used in small assault teams in the Winter War, the AVS was briefly used by squad leaders and elite units like paratroopers, the AVT similarly, the FG rarely by German paratroopers, the Mkb G was an automatic rifle competitor to the Mkb H and W assault rifles, the T20 was never used.
Automatic rifles make more sense as an Assault class weapon
